Unless you've been living under the rock for the last 24 hours, you'll know by now that Khloe Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl - meaningly that the seemingly decades-long saga of "Which Kardashian sisters are pregnant?" has finally come to an end.
This news comes four months after she originally confirmed her pregnancy, and just a matter of hours after her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, was exposed as a cheater.
When Khloe first posted on Instagram to confirm that her baby dreams had come true, she was nothing but happy: "My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby," she wrote. "I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient."
However, in the wake of the recent news, she's said to be devastated about the situation - and we can assume that Kris probably is too.
After it transpired that Thompson had been messing around behind Khloe's back, none of the KarJenners reacted publicly to Khloe's baby news - presumably because they weren't quite sure how to handle the news in an "on brand" manner.
An inside source close to the family said that the new mom was "completely devastated," by the news that her boyfriend had been unfaithful. "Tristan is a man Khloé built a life with and saw as her forever."
What's more, the reality TV star reportedly requested to be moved back to LA the day before she gave birth, but was told that she was too far along in her pregnancy to leave Cleveland.
"It makes sense that Khloé would rather be in L.A. with her immediate family all around her—that’s her real home ... Cleveland isn’t her home now, no matter how hard she tries," a different source said. "But she physically can’t leave, which is also why the timing of this is just so awful; she can’t escape."
So, with all that in mind, Momager Kris gave a suitably blunt response to the news that her ninth grandchild had now been officially welcomed into the family.
All she did was tweet one word: "Blessed".
No comment on the Tristan situation, no subtly-veiled threats about what she would or would not do to her daughter's misbehaving boyfriend, and no real hint of emotion about what's been going on. Just that one word. And, really, what was left unsaid sends out a much louder message about how she feels towards Thompson right now.
However, this is far from the end of the story. Now we need to go through the same rigamarole that we did with Kim and Chigaco and Kylie and Stormi. We need names, first pictures, stories about the ridiculous gifts that Khloe will inevitably be bought in the coming days, and - of course - the revelation that the new baby will be worth more than the GDP of a small country before she's even a month old.
Plus, if we're lucky, we might even see Kris kick off for real pretty soon.
