Aaron Carter's fiancée has shared a heartbreaking video moments after it was reported that the singer-turned-rapper had died.
The heartbreaking news was reported by PEOPLE and TMZ on November 5, with law enforcement officials confirming that the singer and actor was found dead on Saturday morning at his house in Lancaster, California.
The outlet reports that Carter's body was found "in the bathtub" by the singer's housesitter, who later alerted the authorities.
Following the tragic news, Carter's on-and-off fiancée, Melanie Martin, shared the following statement to TMZ: "My fiancé Aaron Carter has passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it’s going to be a journey to raise a son without a father."

The statement continued: "Please respect the privacy of my family as we come to terms with the loss of someone we love greatly. We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality.
"Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated."
The couple shared a one-year-old son, named Prince.
Shortly after Carter's death was reported, Martin also took to TikTok to share a brief yet heartbreaking video showing her crying while in a car.
Martin did not speak in the video, nor did she provide a caption to the post. However, after amassing more than 360,000 views, the post was flooded with comments of support from fans.
"He’s at peace now. He gave you the best gift to remember him by. Live for Aaron and [Prince]. I know you’re hurting please drive safe," one person commented.
A second added: "My heart is broken for you girly! Find your peace, and hug your son! Lean on each other! You will always have a piece of him!"
Back on September 14, the Los Angeles Times reported that Aaron Carter had checked into a rehab facility for a fifth time in order to try and regain custody of his 10-month-old son, Prince - whom he shared with his fiancée, Melanie Martin.
The Times added the couple had their son taken by authorities due to reported domestic violence and drug-use concerns.
However, in an Instagram post shared on September 17, Carter wrote: "I NEVER LOST CUSTODY". He then proceeded to say in the video: "I am not in rehab, I am doing an aftercare outpatient program. [...] Those headlines are inaccurate."

Carter once again insisted that his return to rehab was not court-mandated, but rather "to take care of aftercare".
Our thoughts continue to go out to Carter's family, friends, and fans at this time.
