Taking to TikTok on August 19, the star shared a clip from her recent trip to England, sharing that she needs some help figuring out what she found on the street.

“OK, I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is and I need your help,” she told her 4.3 million followers.

She then held up what looked to be a bright, orange berry with lots of seeds inside of it questioning whether it could be a tomato.

“I just bit into it because it was on the street, and we were discussing whether it was a tomato or not,” she continued, before panning to the patch where she picked the mystery fruit from.

The video continues with the Clueless alum giving more details about the fruit, showing off the inside and stating that it's got a "pepper" taste to it.

“I don’t think you’re supposed to eat this,” she confessed while taking yet another bite out of it. "Does anyone know what this is? I don’t know what it is."

She emphasized her confusion in the caption adding: "What the heck is this!? I’m in England and can’t figure it out.”

Since it was posted, the clip has already gone viral, with thousands taking to the comments to express their concerns for the star.

"Solanum pseudocapsicum, commonly known as the Jerusalem cherry," wrote one user, while another noted: "Jerusalem cherry. it's mildly poisonous."

A third stated: "WOMAN! UPDATE US. ARE YOU ALIVE AND WELL!?!"

Others were clearly less than impressed at the fact that Silverstone was taking something that looked to be on "private property."

"Even if it was a tomato, it’s on someone’s private front garden, you can’t just reach through their gate and pick their plants," commented this person.

And another agreed writing: "That’s called a “it’s not yours. You shouldn’t touch it."

“Why would ANYONE eat random, unknown things from the street?!?" this user pointed out.

The latter is the real issue here...

According to Medicine Plus, the Jerusalem cherry is a plant that belongs to the same family as the black nightshade. It has small, round, red, and orange fruit and can be poisonous due to the solanocapsine in the plant.

Anyway, Silverstone is doing fine as she took to her Instagram Stories as well as her feed to update her followers.

"Alive and well! Don't worry, I didn't swallow," she joked.

Thank God.

Here's the life lesson folks: Don't put random objects you find growing in the streets into your mouth - it might just be poisonous.
