We all know that childbirth is one of the most painful experiences a woman can go through, but sometimes we forget that, for some women, the pregnancy can be just as much of an ordeal. As a new life grows inside the womb, a mother can experience all kinds of fluctuating hormones, aches and pains, cravings and mood swings, and morning sickness, as a result of the gestation.

However, it seems as though model Amber Rose is having a really hard time with her pregnancy. Amber first announced that she was expecting a baby with her partner A.E. Edwards back in April. However, in a candid and makeup-free video posted to her Instagram account this week, Amber explained that she has been diagnosed with hyperemesis - a  condition characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and dehydration.

Amber stated: "For people who don't know what it is, it's basically extreme nausea, vomiting, and dehydration. I can eat a little bit more now, cause I'm in my second trimester, but not much, and I pretty much sleep all day."

She added: "I try to be cute and get my hair done, and I just slept in it and messed it up. But all in all, babies are a blessing, and God bless women, man. We are resilient, we get through it. You know, it's really, really hard being pregnant."

"To all the women out there who just pop out babies like it's nothing, God bless you guys, because, oh my God, it's a lot. I wanna be out, I wanna be cute, I wanna show off my belly, I just can't get off this couch. Like, I'm tired and I just wanna barf all day."

Amber Rose isn't the only celebrity who has been negatively affected by this condition in recent years. In fact, actress and comedian Amy Schumer has also shared a video of herself vomiting profusely as a result of the hyperemesis she's experienced during her own pregnancy.
