Comic Amy Schumer has absolutely no qualms about revealing the most unglamorous aspects of her life on social media.
Who could forget the time she posted an 'unglamorous' photo of herself in hospital - a week after giving birth - sitting on a toilet while attached to an IV drip stand? It is due to this sort of candidness and honesty that the 38-year-old's fans look up to her and feel that they can relate to her.
Last Spring, she and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their baby boy Gene Attell Fischer into the world and now Schumer - as open and candid as ever - is sharing her in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey.
The I Feel Pretty actress posted two videos to Instagram account in which she is seen talking to Fischer after her egg retrieval procedure.
“Am I still wearing my hat?” Schumer asks her husband in one video, while a monitor can be heard beeping in the background. “Well, where did it go?”

“I don’t think you need to wear it anymore. Do you want to put it back on?” Fischer tells his wife off-camera.
“Yes. I want my hat back on,” she responds.
Amy Schumer posts a second video at the hospital as she documents the IVF process:Schumer is believed to have been referring to the surgical headgear she wore earlier that day on her Instagram Story, when she uploaded a picture of herself in a hospital gown. In another video, Schumer tells Fischer what a “blast” they were going to have later that day.
“We’ll go to a bar. We’ll sit at the bar, get a couple of drinks,” she said before pausing. “We just have a blast today.”
