Ashley Olsen and her husband Louis Eisner have welcomed their first child - a son named Otto.
Sources close to the new parents told TMZ that Ashley gave birth to the baby boy some months ago in New York. According to the sources, the pair are over the moon to start their very own family.
She and Louis - the artist son of famed jewelry designer Lisa Eisner - tied the knot in December last year in a private ceremony.
Ever since rumors of their romance arose in October 2017, the couple have played it cool. A display of affection here, a shared photo there, but for the most part, their love story remained under wraps.
Photographic snippets tell a tale, though. A captured moment in August 2018 showcased them leisurely strolling through Los Angeles, their arms interlinked. Fast forward to July 2019, and engagement rumors started floating when 37-year-old Ashley, also the co-founder of the chic fashion label The Row, was seen donning a noticeable dark band on her ring finger.
Though fiercely protective of their bond, 2021 did see a few shared moments. Louis (as reported by People) took to Instagram to post a snap of Ashley, and the two even graced the red carpet, presenting a unified front.
Coming from the legacy of the iconic Full House, Ashley and her twin Mary-Kate haven't been strangers to fame since childhood.
Discussing their preference for discretion, especially evident in their minimalistic fashion brand The Row, Mary-Kate mused to i-D, "We were raised to be discreet people."
Ashley, chiming in, and giving a nod to their younger sister, WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen, remarked, "I think that potentially that's just our aesthetic, our design preference."
But she hinted that their brand’s simplicity doesn't shun the ornate. "Sometimes a collection even starts quite like that, and then gets pared down," Ashley shared, indicating that while they prefer the understated, they're not averse to embracing the elaborate.
In any case, people had plenty to say when they learned that little Michelle from Full House was now a mother herself.
