There's no doubt that Steve Irwin, aka: ''The Crocodile Hunter'', was one of the best wildlife documentary makers ever. His television series featured a number of adventures with various creatures, some friendly, others dangerous, but it was Steve's infectious enthusiasm which kept people glued to the screen.

Unfortunately, Irwin died at the age of just 44 when he killed by a stingray while filming an underwater segment for one of his TV shows. His loss was felt most keenly by his family: his wife Terri Raines, and their two children, Bindi and Robert.

Now his little girl is all grown up, and seems to care just as much about the natural world as her dad did. As an adult, she works as a conservationist and TV personality in her own right and has recently gotten engaged to her childhood sweetheart, Chandler Powell.

Not only that, but it seems as though her wedding plans are pretty unconventional as well. In a recent interview, Bindi stated that she wanted to break the mould by tying the knot at Australia Zoo, and added that she wanted to walk down the aisle with a koala bear!

In an appearance on Good Morning America, Bindi spoke about her wedding plans, stating: "We’re so excited. It’s where we met and where we got engaged so it only makes sense that we’d have it at Australia Zoo. See, I think this wedding is going to be unique because it’s going to be at the zoo and with tons of animals."

She added: "I'm not sure how many people have walked down the aisle with a koala, but we may be setting some new trends for weddings from here on out ... The easiest part of wedding planning is just knowing that I get to marry this amazing guy. Whatever else happens, it doesn't matter."

To be honest, this is exactly the kind of wedding that Steve Irwin would have approved of. It just goes to show that Bindi is continuing her father's legacy.
