Bindi Irwin has shared a tribute to her late dad Steve Irwin, telling her followers: "His love and kindness will live on".
The Irwins are a much-loved family around the world as they have dedicated their lives to the conservation of wildlife and their natural habitat.
A lot of us will have grown up watching Steve on TV and his tragic death in 2006 sent shockwaves across the globe and his loss is still felt today.
In a heartwarming tribute to her late father, Bindi took to Instagram on Thursday to share a flashback video.
The clip showcases Steve as he tends to the Australia Zoo, demonstrating his love and enthusiasm for all creatures great and small.
In the video, Steve is seen on his bicycle, intervening in a quarrel between two feisty kookaburras. Bindi uploaded the video with the caption: "This #flashback makes my heart happy. Dad's kindness and love for all species will live on forever."
As the throwback clip plays, Steve approaches the bickering kookaburras, curious about the squabble.
"What's going on here?", Steve questioned, deeming it a "kookaburra fight." Displaying his bond with the animal kingdom, he gently gathers both birds, holding them next to each other, and calls for harmony within his zoo.
"Now stop it. You guys need to make up. You be friends now," Steve implored as the kookaburras grabbed each other's beaks.
The video then reveals Steve making kookaburra noises in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Eventually, he successfully separates the two animals, uttering his iconic "Crikey" before resuming his bike ride.
In his own words, Steve's day consisted of "putting out fires, stopping fires, playing with the gators, koalas, kangaroos."
Steve's wife, Terri, joined the exchange in the comments section of her daughter's post. She described the video as "such a special moment" and added: "Steve loved every animal @australiazoo."
Earlier this year, his son Robert Irwin also paid tribute to his dad as he recreated a childhood photo.
The first image captures a young Robert sitting on his father's lap in their family car, while the second portrays him now, behind the wheel of the very same vehicle.
In the heartfelt caption accompanying the post, Robert penned: "My dad's ute... it's a special car. From early memories when Dad would park and let me pretend to drive, to more recently when I took my driver's test in it (and somehow managed not to stall it)."
He went on to share his cherished memories of the car, saying: "I remember my first solo drive in this car after I got my license - it was to the hospital to meet my niece for the first time, right after she was born. And now, the ute still comes on road trips to this day..."
Steve would have undoubtedly been so proud of his kids.
