In another shocking twist in the Beckham family drama, eldest child Brooklyn Beckham, 27, has slated his teenage sister’s visit to his marital home as a staged photo opportunity.
It is believed that the youngest Beckham child, Harper Beckham, 14, was attempting to visit her estranged brother and hand deliver a letter while the family was in Los Angeles.
The Beckhams were in town to celebrate the unveiling of David Beckham’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, dedicated to him for his services to US soccer and entertainment.
Posh and Becks' only daughter was spotted outside Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s home just hours after the Walk of Fame ceremony, and left only minutes later without seeing her brother.
Only after paparazzi captured the heartbreaking moment was it revealed that the couple was actually in New York at the time of the visit.
Shortly after the photographs of Harper walking away with a disappointed look on her face surfaced online, a representative for the couple claimed the entire visit was staged for the paparazzi.
A spokesperson for the Peltz-Beckhams told Page Six: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all - this was choreographed for the cameras."
While David and Victoria Beckham have not yet officially responded to their estranged son’s claims, a source close to the family told The Sun that the accusation is “clearly nonsense”.
The family’s public feud hit headlines in January when Brooklyn announced he wanted to sever all contact with his family in a bombshell statement posted to Instagram.
He famously accused his mother, Victoria Beckham, of ruining his wedding day in a number of ways.
According to Brooklyn, the fashion designer and former Spice Girl cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and danced with him inappropriately on the day.
Since then, Brooklyn has snubbed his family numerous times by removing or covering up a number of tattoos that honor his family over the past few months, including a tribute to his father, David.
Also, on his wife Nicola’s birthday in April, he shared a picture of the extravagant bouquet of flowers his wife’s parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, sent the couple for their anniversary.
The wealth of Nicola’s businessman and investor father eclipses that of the Beckhams and reportedly provides his daughter with a $1 million monthly allowance, which helps fund the young couple's lavish lives.
