Towards the end of last year, the music world was shook by the news of Cardi B and Offset's split. The couple had only announced that they were married that summer (though they'd actually tied the knot the previous September), so it was something of a surprise to see them part ways so soon.
Almost as soon as it was "over", however, the pair announced that they were back together again - but it hasn't been all plain sailing since then.
Fans of Cardi have not been so quick to forgive her husband as she has, and have been relentless in sending him online abuse. The trolling got so bad, in fact, that the I Like It artist had to put out a plea for it to stop.
"Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for everybody who's been supporting me, loving me, and that feel like they need to defend me," she said.
"Right, wrong or indifferent, I don't want people to just keep doing f**ked s**t, saying f**ked s**t. Violating my baby father is not going to make me feel any better because at the end of the day, that’s still family."
Now, however, the tables have turned, and she has become the target for trolls.
As we all know by now, Cardi is not afraid to say what's on her mind - whether that be about the government shutdown or, as she recently proved, her pubic hair. (Bear with me folks, this is leading somewhere, I promise.)
Anyway, Cardi decided to get all her downstairs hair lasered off earlier this week, and invited Offset to come along too. She then shared clips on Instagram of him enjoying some pizza while she waited to undergo the procedure, and spoke openly about what she was going to have done.
"Do you wanna see me get my vagina lasered?" she asks Offset at one point.
The Migos artist declined the opportunity (and we don't blame him), but - rather than see the funny side of it - the trolls took this as a perfect opportunity to take a dig at the rapper.
"If she thinks [getting laser hair removal is] gonna keep him from cheating, she wrong," commented one Insta user, referring to the infidelity that caused their split in the first place.
This prompted Cardi to fire back: "I just think is not going to make me feel like i have a mink coat down there nothin to do with a man Goddam! [sic]"
Of course, this isn't the only TMI we've had from Cardi recently.
Last week, on Valentine's Day, the rapper shared a video of herself with Offset, and let's just say that it's clear their bedroom antics didn't take much of a hit when they went their separate ways for a short time.
Needless to say, Cardi isn't taking any hate from trolls where her and Offset are concerned - she's far too busy living her best life with laser hair removal and pizza.
