Demi Lovato has come out as pansexual during an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan.
Opening up about her sexuality on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, The Dancing With the Devil singer, 28, explained that she is attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender.
Needless to say, fans of the singer and actress were thrilled by their idol's coming out, with one commenting on Twitter: "Apparently Demi Lovato has come out as pansexual and idk why but that makes me happy good for her."
Lovato had started discussing her sexuality with Rogan during the podcast after she shared her thoughts on having children.
Check out the moment Lovato discusses her sexuality:"I think if anything I want to adopt. I was engaged to a man last year," she said, in reference to her ex-fiancé Max Ehrich. "I totally thought I'd be married, maybe pregnant by now. And that's not the case."
She continued: "I also don't know if I'm going to end up with a guy, so I can't really see myself maybe getting pregnant. I'm so fluid now — and a part of the reason why I am so fluid is because I was super closeted off."
It was then clarified that she meant that she was "sexually fluid" and when Rogan asked her if she was pansexual specifically, the former Disney star replied: "Yeah, pansexual."
Lovato recalled feeling "a lot of shame" growing up as she was raised in a Christian household in Texas and "that's very frowned upon".
She added: "Any attraction I had to a female at a young age, I shut it down before I even let myself process what I was feeling."
After coming out about her sexuality, fans rush to social media to show their support to the star.
One wrote: "As a fellow pansexual I would like to say Welcome xo you're our Queen now."
A second added: "Welcome @ddlovato to the Pan club!!!!!"
A fthird person chimed in to share: "Just finished watching Demi Lovato’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience and I absolutely loved it. By far my favorite Demi interview of all time. Her personality shines through like never before, I love her so much."

She told the magazine: "I know who I am and what I am, but I’m just waiting until a specific timeline to come out to the world as what I am.
"I’m following my healers’ timeline, and I’m using this time to really study and educate myself on my journey and what I’m preparing to do."
