The 31-year-old, who was just a child when Moore, 62, started dating Kutcher in 2005, dropped a candid comment on Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent Instagram post about step-parenting, hinting at a personal fallout from her mom’s former relationship.

“I have a lot to say on this! Especially how to move through an ex-step parent,” Tallulah wrote, adding two red heart emojis.

When a fan asked if she was referring to Kutcher, she admitted: “This maybe should have been a private message lol but yes I have personal experience with this.”

Tallulah noted that she wasn’t trying to stir up drama and emphasized the importance of healing without blame: “No one needs to be a bad guy for a situation to be healed. There’s room for everyone.”

The Substance actress and the That '70s Show star tied the knot in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2013.

Kutcher, now 46, has since moved on with That '70s Show co-star Mila Kunis. The couple married in 2015 and now share two children together.

Moore hasn’t remarried, though she was previously wed to Freddy Moore and later Bruce Willis, with whom she shares daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah.

In her 2019 memoir Inside Out, the Oscar-nominated actress opened up about the challenges in her marriage to Kutcher - including her relapse and allegations of cheating.

Moore claimed Kutcher had an affair with a 21-year-old woman they met at a bowling alley and justified his infidelity by referencing a threesome they had. Kutcher has never publicly commented on the claims.

In a 2023 interview with Esquire, Kutcher admitted he was “f**king pissed” that Moore’s book reignited public scrutiny over their former relationship.

“I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and [wife Mila Kunis], and my life and my family. And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school,” he said, before stopping himself mid-thought. “I don’t want to open anything up in that realm.”

The Two and a Half Men star also spoke candidly about how abruptly his life changed when he became a stepfather at just 26.

“I was twenty-six, bearing the responsibility of an eight-year-old, a ten-year-old, and a twelve-year-old,” he said. “That’s how some teen parents must experience their twenties.”

Kutcher also reflected on the heartbreak of Moore’s miscarriage. “Losing a kid that you think you’re going to have, and that close to thinking you’re going to have a kid, is really, really painful,” he shared.

Despite the marriage ending, Kutcher said his bond with Moore’s daughters remains strong. During a 2020 appearance on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, he said: “I was helping raise teenage girls through their adolescence."

"I love them. I’m never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honouring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing," he continued. “I was never trying to be their father. I always had respect and honoured Bruce [Willis]... If they don’t want an engagement with me, I’m not going to force it upon them. But they all do, and it’s great.”

While Tallulah rarely speaks about her mother's ex-husband publicly, she did open up about that period in a 2023 episode of Stars On Mars.

“It was like 2003, my mom had just started dating Ashton,” she said, cited by E! News. “It was that moment, a lot going on, and I really went inside of myself, and that did send me into like a total dumpster fire. It was really hard, and I'm still unpacking."

But she’s found peace on the other side of it. “I found the other side of that, which is like I really love myself now, and I love my family,” she concluded.
