Dick Van Dyke has delighted fans with his subtle nod to one of his most beloved movie roles.
The legendary actor - who is 96 years old, if you can believe it - was photographed on Wednesday heading to the gym in Malibu, California.
The New York Post reports how Dyke was accompanied by his wife Arlene Silver, 50, as the couple attended a fitness class.
However, after paparazzi pics circulated online, fans of the actor couldn't help but be overcome with joy after noticing that Dyke was wearing a sweatshirt that read 'Just a Spoonful of Sugar' - a lyric from one of the songs featured in the 1964 Disney classic Mary Poppins.
Of course, in the movie it is Julie Andrews who performs the upbeat song as the magical nanny, but fans still couldn't help but smile at seeing Van Dyke sporting the apparel.
One person tweeted: "Dick Van Dyke out and about — in a Spoonful of Sugar shirt. [...] How much do we all adore this great gentleman and artist?"
A second added: "Dick Van Dyke earlier today in Malibu. He will be 97 years old later this year. Love the 'Spoonful of Sugar' sweatshirt."
"The man looks really good for 96," added a third.
Earlier this year, fans were left seriously impressed by the legendary actor's undying talents when he performed alongside wife Silver in her music video for 'Everybody Loves A Lover'.
You can check that out below:A cover of Doris Day's 1958 hit, Van Dyke not only sings on the track, but also performs his own choreography in the music video, and can be seen smiling away as he jokes around on set.
Once again, fans flooded the comments section with praise for the actor, with one person writing: "This freakin' awesome. Dick has still got it! One of the best human beings on the planet!"
"Seeing Dick Van Dyke still dancing & singing, with a touch of humor, made my heart smile," commented another.
Van Dyke will celebrate his 97th birthday later this year on December 13.
