The year 2019 has struck a deep blow against fans of the reality TV show Dog the Bounty Hunter, after Beth, the wife of Duane 'Dog' Chapman, passed away the age of 51.

Beth appeared alongside her spouse in the popular TV series as he was chasing down perps. Sadly, Beth had been fighting serious throat cancer since 2017.

Although she was declared cancer-free later that same year after a 13-hour-long operation to remove tumorous growths, it was later announced that the cancer spread to her lungs. Beth was placed in a medically-induced coma after a choking incident and died on the morning of Wednesday, June 26.

Now, her husband and widower Dog has held an emotional memorial service for her in Hawaii, which was attended by a great many other mourners. Family members, friends, and fans gathered on Fort DeRussy Beach for a 'paddle out' - which sees the bereaved honor the dead by paddling out to sea on a surfboard or a flotation device, before they form a circle or line and place a wreath of flowers in the ocean.

Footage from the heartwarming memorial looks absolutely beautiful:

Beth allegedly planned her memorial service before her death and wanted her funeral service to be open to the public in both Hawaii and Colorado. Footage of the event has already hit social media, and thousands more tributes have poured in in the form of comments and reactions.

In an emotional Twitter post, Beth's daughter Bonnie wrote: "Love you forever mom. You’ve got a halo now ... I’ll never forget you, mama. You were such a strong woman, and you taught me to always be strong."

She added: "You were strong for everyone, and you taught me it’s okay to let go. I’d never thought I’d lose my mom at 20. I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but in her eyes she disagreed."

Our thoughts are with Beth Chapman's friends and family during this difficult time.
