Former Disney star-turned-porn star Maitland Ward has spoken out about Mikaela Spielberg's decision to start a career in the adult entertainment industry.
Speaking to TMZ, the former Boy Meets World star - who traded acting for a career in adult entertainment - thinks it is "amazing" that the 23-year-old Mikaela wants to pursue her passion in the industry, but also says that her famous father should be "concerned".
"I can understand that. In any industry, you should be concerned. In Hollywood, you should be concerned especially if she’s meeting people in person. That’s when you really need to be concerned."
Ward also shared her belief that the famed director's daughter would be "taken care of and watched over".
Earlier this month, Mikaela, the adopted daughter of famed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw, revealed that she was venturing into a career as an adult entertainer, as well as sharing her wishes to become a stripper.
In an exclusive interview with UK tabloid The Sun, the 23-year-old revealed that she has already started self-producing solo porn videos, and said that one her sex worker license is approved, she would like to become a stripper.
Spielberg said: "I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body. And I also just got tired of working day-to-day in a way that wasn't satisfying my soul.
"I feel like doing this kind of work, I'm able to 'satisfy' other people, but that feels good because it's not in a way that makes me feel violated."
She also described herself as a "sexual creature".

Regardless of the reputation often associated with the adult industry, Mikaela insists that her parents were "intrigued" and "not upset".
She said: "My safety has always been a number one priority for them. I'm doing this, not out of an urge to hurt anybody or be spiteful about it, I'm doing this because I want to honour my body in a way that's lucrative.
"I actually think that once they see how far I've come from the bottom I was at a year and a half ago, they're going to look at this and go, 'Wow, we actually raised are really self-assured, young lady."
Ward also told TMZ that she applauds Mikaela's decision to reveal her true passions for the porn industry, saying: "I think we’re living in a really changed world when it’s becoming accepted and celebrated in many ways." Listen, if she wants to do this and live in her truth and her authenticity, and she loves sexual performing, go do it!"
Mikaela also broke the news of her new career venture to her social media followers earlier this month, writing: "I just launched my self-produced adult entertainment career. Safe, sane, consensual is the goal y'all.
"My body, my life, my income, my choice. I owe not a single person my autonomy or virtue just because of a name."
In an interview with The Daily Beast back in December, 43-year-old Ward revealed that she earns more money in the adult entertainment industry than she ever did with Disney.
After discovering her loyal following enjoyed her sexy cosplay pics, Ward now boasts over a million followers on Instagram, and revealed how she made money through selling adult content on apps and sites like OnlyFans and Patreon.
"For 2018, I was the No. 1 adult-content creator for Patreon, and it put the power back in my hands. Studios wouldn’t give me that," she said. Ward revealed to The Daily Beast she can make as much as five figures per month on OnlyFans alone - raking in $62,000 in her best month during 2018.
In fact, Ward revealed she's making more money now than she ever did with Disney: "So when people say, 'She had to turn to porn', I laugh, because this is a good thing and I’m making more now."
