Mia Khalifa has come out with some advice for other women, begging them not to get into the p*rn industry.
Khalifa, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, initially rose to fame after embarking on what she described to be an "abusive" career in the world of adult entertainment.
Despite only filming a handful of videos - one of the most controversial being a video in which she performed sexual acts while posing as a Muslim wearing a hijab - the actress immediately rose to fame.
At one point, she even became one of the most searched adult stars in the world.

Despite her popularity though, she has emphasized that she does not recommend the adult entertainment industry to any other woman.

Back in 2020, the star took to Instagram to warn others of the dangers of her industry.
She opened up about only doing approximately 11 videos when she was 21 years old, but even with a short history compared to other entertainers, she has been left with permanent trauma.
Sharing a video of herself looking defeated on TikTok, she wrote in the caption: "That hourly dissociative attack from remembering hundreds of millions of people's only impression of you is solely based on the lowest, most toxic, most uncharacteristic three months of your life when you were 21."
Explaining the caption further, she said: "Those 11 videos will haunt me until I die, and I don't want another girl to go through that because no one should. Long story short: don't do p*rn. And if you do, don't do it with a company. Dot it for yourself, on your own terms."
She also added some advice for those who "consume" graphic content.
"And if you consume p*rn, make sure it's ethical and not from giant corporations who profit off exploiting women. Like your groceries, shop local and direct from the creators," Khalifa said.

A decade has passed since the now 31-year-old was part of the industry, and she has re-gained some control back over her content thanks to platforms like OnlyFans, which gives creators a better grasp on their work.
It comes months after the star appeared on Steven Bartlett's Diary Of A CEO podcast where she talked in more detail about how she originally got into adult film.
"I got talked into eloping to Las Vegas four days after my 18th birthday," she said. "I didn't have a sense of self so I attached myself to someone who was more than happy to abuse that and someone who could see that and see someone easily manipulatable... but at the same time eager to please. It was just the perfect storm."
Things seemingly took a darker turn when her husband, who was in the US Army at the time, presented the adult entertainment industry to her.
"[He] put that whole [adult film] world in front of me and encouraged it," she said during the interview.
She also noted that she doesn't refer to her past relationship as such due to the toxic nature of it.
"I even feel weird calling it a relationship, because the dynamic was not one of a relationship – it was more one of someone who saw a toy to play with," she said.
