Hilary Duff is officially off the market, having married boyfriend Matthew Koma. The former Disney starlet and her longtime love said their I dos on Saturday, a source tells E! News.
Duff and Koma, who share a 14-month-old daughter, Banks, tied the knot in the backyard of their Los Angeles home. This is the Lizzie McGuire actress's second marriage.
Remember that time Hilary Duff took to social media to ponder over the potential name of her unborn child? She had previously been married to Mike Comrie, with whom she split back in 2014, two years after the birth of their now-seven-year-old son Luca.
Duff's stylist took to Instagram to give fans of the So Yesterday singer a sneak peek of the bouquet held by the bride at the intimate ceremony.
"Winter solstice ...," she wrote. "A day of luv."
Duff confirmed her own nuptials after taking to the comments of E!'s Instagram post about the stunning white ball gown she wore at as her character Sam Montgomery in A Cinderella Story.
Writing in jest, she commented: "Should have considered the mask tho."
Their wedding took place just seven months after Koma, a musician, proposed with a beautiful, four-carat diamond ring. Back in May, Duff captioned a photo featuring the ring: "He asked me to be his wife."
Apparently, though, Duff hadn't been expecting her beau to propose to her when he did.
"Matthew really wanted to throw Hilary off guard," an insider told E! News. "It was just the two of them on a rooftop outside."
"Matthew wanted it to be meaningful, but casual because he knows Hilary wasn't dying to get engaged," added the source. "She knew it was important to him and he wanted to propose to signify them being a family unit."
"Hilary has always known she would be with Matthew forever and having Banks sealed the deal," the source continued. "She's really happy and excited. Everyone in Hilary's family has always loved him and seeing him be a dad to Banks now has only made their relationship stronger."
