A plastic surgery fanatic, who has become somewhat of a public figure known as the “human Ken Doll”, looks unrecognizable in a recently resurfaced picture of him pre-procedures.
Justin Jedlica, 36, has spent an eye-watering $550,000 on medically manipulating his appearance over the last 15 years. He has had over 550 cosmetic procedures and does not plan to slow down anytime soon.
The most recent three include removing implants he had in his latissimus (shoulder blades), replacing them with slightly less dramatic ones, and removing a vein from his forehead.
Explaining his obsession, the Los Angeles native told The Sun: “For me, I look at this as being an art form.
“With my implant design and body modifications, it’s much more about making myself exceptionally different from anyone else."
Unsurprisingly, Justin looked completely different before he went under the knife for the first time well over a decade ago. A photo of the reality TV personality turned influencer from high school shows what he naturally looked like.
Despite looking completely unrecognizable and rather plastic, Justin has no desire to stop anytime soon. In fact, he even credits his extreme look to his professional success.
He proudly said: “I never thought I would be able to live in West Hollywood in a multimillion-dollar home.
"I attribute a lot of that to the confidence and self-esteem that I got from plastic surgery.
“I chose to look a specific way and it may not be the way everybody else thinks is typically beautiful. But I find it beautiful and that’s really all that matters at the end of the day.”
Justin is even classified as a plastic surgery pioneer of sorts, as he was the first person in the world to have a major back augmentation, and even designed the implants himself.
Describing the process, he said: “I conceptualized the surgery. I designed the implants. Everything healed well; it just ended up being a little bit big.”
Being the first of its kind, the procedure will not be straightforward as it involves making an implant using five different samples from two companies, and the old implants need to be removed first.
Justin explained: "That means they have to make a cut underneath in my armpit.
“The doctor won’t be able to just take them out like a normal implant because they are so large and they are actually hook-shaped."
