Jazz Jennings shows off 'confident' modeling moves in body positive swimsuit post

Fans of teenage trans activist Jazz Jennings are praising the young reality star for promoting body confidence in a recent social media post.

The 19-year-old announced last year that she was taking a year off from school and deferring her place at Harvard to spend time focusing on her mental health - something she later told The New York Times that she was "very glad" she had the opportunity to do.

Now, just less than two weeks after her third gender confirmation surgery, Jennings is oozing body confidence in a social media post as she shows off her best moves in a two-piece bikini.

The teenager captioned the post: "Confidence is key [...] Strutting into a new episode of #IamJazz on @tlc like..."

Many of Jennings 1 million+ Instagram followers praised the 19-year-old for showcasing her confidence and body positivity.

Jazz's brother Sander commented: "So proud of you for embracing your body and loving yourself! Continue being confident".

Jennings, who has been a prolific activist trans right, revealed that she had completed her third gender confirmation surgery earlier this month, and took to Instagram to share the happy news with her fans.

Taking to social media, Jennings posted a photo of her in a hospital bed, along with a caption thanking those who have supported her over the years - since she spoke about being transgender at the age of six, on the news program 20/20. She wrote:

"I’m feeling so great after completing my third surgery! This third procedure was for cosmetics, and I’m super happy with the results. Thank you to everyone who has followed my journey and supported me along the way."
