John Legend has been named the sexiest man alive by People magazine.
It's been an exciting couple of years for the 40-year-old musician, who, last year, became one of the youngest people to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony and the first African-American man to win all four. Only 14 other people have gone on to become so-called EGOT winners, making it a very impressive accomplishment indeed.
And now Legend has been awarded the coveted honour of being People's sexiest man alive.
Watch this hilarious video of John Legend singing classic Gordon Ramsay insults:"I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure," he told People magazine. "Everyone's going to be picking me apart to see if I'm sexy enough to hold this title. I'm (also) following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!"
When the magazine announced the decision on Twitter, Legend thanked them for the honour.
And then, making light of the situation, the modest entertainer tweeted a snap of last year's winner Idris Elba side by side with a photo of a fresh-faced John Legend, writing:
"1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 @IdrisElba as #SexiestManAlive. Hell, 2019 John is about as equally perplexed but thank you @People for finding me sexy. I'll take it."
Of course, the feat wouldn't have felt quite right without some obligatory Twitter commentary from his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
As well as being the sexiest man on the planet, Legend is also an amazing father:The model, who now calls herself a "de-motivational speaker currently sleeping with people's sexiest man alive" on her Twitter bio, tweeted: "My secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having b***d @people's sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!"
Shortly after, she told her followers that she "cannot WAIT for people to get mad about John being the sexiest man alive," before adding, "It's my new Starbucks holiday cup."
Past holders of the title include Blake Shelton, Chris Hemsworth, Adam Levine, George Clooney and Channing Tatum.
