Justin Bieber has a tempestuous history of volatile romantic relationships, alleged drug abuse and run-ins with the law. But, recently it seemed like the singer was finally in a good place, with him appearing to be happy and healthy.

However, now, a "disturbing" new video of the Love Yourself singer has sparked concern among his legions of fans.

The footage in question shows the 24-year-old pop star greet admirers on the streets of New York, wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and a backwards baseball cap. It begins innocently, with Justin seemingly poking fun at his overexcited fans by waving enthusiastically.

Moments after, the singer begins to twitch uncontrollably with his eyes tightly closed and his hands clutching his chest and torso. After, he draws a female fan in for a hug and is seen frenziedly stroking her side and back, before turning to the camera and frantically grinning.

Purportedly filmed last week, most people online have only just caught wind of the footage, with it going viral yesterday. Immediately after Justin's fans saw the video, many of them expressed concern for his health, with some suggesting his twitching and shaking could be down to drugs.

"Ohmygod, one of the worst things I saw this month- This is year is the vid going around of Justin Bieber tweaking hard. It’s so disturbing I wished I never watched it (sic)," Twitter user @poisedslay wrote.

She was joined by @AlyssiaByrd13 who insisted the singer had addiction issues.  "Everyone keeps laughing at the way Justin Bieber looks now but if he was to die.... y’all would all be mad upset," she tweeted. "I’m sorry for such a stretch but he looks like he has a drug problem and instead of anyone addressing it y’all all laughing at his appearance.. (sic)"

In spite of fans' concerns, it appears that the people surrounding Justin in the video are laughing at his behaviour, potentially suggesting a happier alternative explanation. One woman can even be heard saying "aww" as Justin shakes.

The fresh wave of worry comes after the Sorry singer's manager revealed he used to be terrified that Justin would overdose and die when he wasn't there.

Describing the 24-year-old's "dark place", Scooter Braun told Van Lathan’s The Red Pill podcast: "There was a time when I would go to sleep almost every night — when he had the money to fly away from me — and I was worried every night that I was gonna lose him. That was the time when I was telling him he’s not allowed to work. He used to yell and scream at me and he wanted to put music out. He wanted to tour, but I thought if he did that, he would die. So I just refused."

He continued: "We weren’t making any money, it wasn’t like I was trying to take advantage — I didn’t want him to work, I wanted him to get healthy... I thought he was going to sleep one night and that he would have so much crap in his system that he would not wake up the next morning. I was trying to monitor him from a distance, I would fly after him at times, all kinds of different stuff."

Justin cancelled the remainder of his Purpose world tour in summer 2017, with his 37-year-old music manager saying at the time that the singer’s "soul and well being … came first." At the moment, he is in Italy with partner Hailey Baldwin.

Justin Bieber has sparked concern among fans after a video surfaced showing the pop star smoking and rapping in a manner that some have described as "bizarre."

In the clip, Bieber appears to be under the influence, leading to a flurry of reactions on social media.

His actions and demeanor have prompted fans to express their worries about his well-being.

“Oh no, he looks beat to hell. What happened?” one person wrote.

Another commented: “Fame did a number on him. My heart goes out to him. He never really had a chance at any sense of normalcy.”

“Bro needs help tbh this ain't the star we knew,” a third added, while another said: “No, he’s genuinely going through it. I’ve said that for months. It’s so sad.”

Others speculated that the singer had been taking "hard drugs".

In response to the speculation, Bieber’s team released a statement to TMZ, strongly denying the claims.

“The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,” the representative said, adding that Bieber is actually “in one of the best places in his life.”

The 'What Do You Mean' singer, who welcomed his first child, Jack Blues, with wife Hailey Bieber in August 2024, is reportedly focusing on fatherhood and his music.

The representative also noted that Bieber has undergone a “very transformative” year, cutting ties with certain friends and business relationships that “no longer serve him.”

The rumors, they added, are “exhausting and pitiful” and reflect a persistent attempt to push “negative, salacious, harmful narratives” despite the facts.

As of now, Bieber's representatives have not released an official statement regarding the video. Fans worldwide hope that the singer receives the support and help he may need during this time.

Social media users are shocked after disturbing videos of the way Justin Bieber was treated during the early stages of his career resurfaced online.

The 29-year-old found fame at a very early age after videos of him singing were spotted online by Scooter Braun, who tracked down the 13-year-old and convinced his mother, Patti Mallette, to allow him to sign to a label.

While many people are aware of his stratospheric rise to fame as a floppy-haired kid, most were stunned to look back on early interviews with the singer and see just how he was treated.

A video posted on TikTok by a user - who goes by the handle @kendallrae111 - displayed several unsettling moments from the 'Sorry' singer's teenage years in the music industry.

One of the troubling clips shows actress Jenny McCarthy kissing a then 18-year-old Bieber on the neck and groping his backside on stage after he won an award at the American Music Awards in 2012. Bieber can be heard saying: "Wow, I feel violated right now," after the incident.

Another piece of footage reveals a then 15-year-old Bieber being asked by a radio host to give her the "sex talk," to which he replies: "I feel uncomfortable right now. Why do you want to know the sex talk from a 15-year-old boy? That’s pretty weird."

In addition to this, the clip featured other instances of the 'Beauty and the Beat' singer being asked questions of a sexual nature by interviewers, being made uncomfortable at different award ceremonies, and being touched inappropriately by older celebrities.

One interviewer told him to "wear condoms", while James Corden was seen complimenting him on how nice he smelt and how beautiful his eyes were.

The video quickly amassed millions of views, with many people flocking to the comments section to share their outrage at Bieber's treatment.

One user wrote: "This is so disturbing," while another said: "This is painful to watch. They all owe him an apology!"

A third penned: "I honestly think this is why he is the way he is today. He was treat[ed] so badly as a kid so he knows everyone is so toxic. Trust issues 100%."

A fourth commented: "These celebrities were doing this in public, imagine what they do behind closed doors."

A fifth user chimed in: "So many kids think they have the life but it’s a truly decadent industry."

The video concluded with an interview of Bieber tearing up as he spoke about wanting to "protect" Billie Eilish because he doesn’t want her to have the same experiences that he did as a young person in the industry.

"It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry and not knowing where to turn and everyone telling me they loved me and you know, just turning their back on you in a second," he said in the Beats 1 interview with Apple Music.

"I just want to protect her. I don't want her to lose it. I don't want her to go through anything I went through," Bieber said, adding, "I don't wish that upon anybody."

In a raw and candid video shared with his 293 million Instagram followers, the 31-year-old pop star turned the lens on the paparazzi who swarmed him and wife Hailey Bieber the moment they stepped outside a building in Los Angeles.

The video, filmed by Bieber himself, captures the intensity of life under the spotlight — camera flashes, invasive questioning, and an unsettling proximity that leaves no space for privacy. Watch the uncomfortable video below:

“Look at these guys, man!” Bieber can be heard saying off-camera as photographers flood the scene. One member of his security detail attempts to shield the couple while ushering them toward a car.

“You done? Go ahead, go… What are you waiting for?” the security guard asks a photographer who refuses to budge, replying: “I'm just standing here.”

Bieber captioned the clip with a firm message: “This has to stop.”

The footage quickly lit up social media, prompting a wave of support from fans — and a deeply personal follow-up from Bieber himself. In an Instagram Story, he revealed the pressure he’s under, both publicly and privately.

His admission came with a heavy dose of introspection: “I’m no victim. I moved to LA KNOWING ITS F***ED OUT HERE.”

The footage arrives amid ongoing speculation about the state of Bieber’s mental health and his marriage to Hailey, 28.

After several Coachella appearances and candid Instagram posts, fans expressed concern. Some cited an incident where Bieber was spotted smoking marijuana near his younger siblings at the festival. But those close to the couple insist they’re staying strong.

“Hailey is not on the verge of wanting a divorce or leaving him. It's just completely untrue,” a source told PEOPLE. “If anything she's sad about how hard everyone is being on him now that he finally is coming back out of his shell.”

However, another insider painted a different picture, claiming Hailey has been “in tears” over Bieber’s recent behavior. “She’s genuinely scared something bad is going to happen to Justin,” they said, adding that her focus is on raising their son, Jack Blues Bieber, born in August 2024, in a “stable environment.”

“She’s not walking away, but she knows something has to change,” the source added. “She’s drawn a line around what she’s willing to tolerate. She means the world to Justin. They have quietly weathered more than most couples ever do.”

Bieber himself addressed the speculation with brutal honesty in an Instagram Story: “They treat me like ass out here, but I remember that I am flawed and God forgave me.”

“It helps me to stop feeling better than those who are mean and hurtful because when I'm really honest, I can be mean and hurtful too,” he said. Reflecting on his marriage, he added: “Honestly if I was u, it would be hard not to be jealous of me and Hailey going brazzzzyy. It's really up for us and that's understandable why people can't stand it.”

“I don't blame 'em,” he concluded. “We are the Jones's that are impossible to keep up with.”

Hailey backed up her husband with her own public show of support, giving Justin a heartfelt thank-you while accepting the Innovator Award at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards: “I want to thank my husband for supporting the dream of mine from the beginning and for always cheering me on.”

A video has surfaced on social media showing the moment Justin Bieber pleaded with his fans to stop gathering outside his home.

The clip was posted to TikTok on Friday (June 25) by user @VanessaFex. The footage shows the moments the Grammy award-winning singer approached fans who had gathered outside of his New York City apartment.

As the fans shout and ask for hugs and photos, the 27-year-old Canadian singer stops to address the matter of them being gathered outside his home.

In the video, Bieber calmly tells the group of fans:

"I hear you, I hear you. But this is my home. You know what I mean? This is where I live. And I don't appreciate you guys being here.

"You know when you come home at the end of the night, and you want to relax? This is my space to do that. So I would appreciate it if you guys could leave."

It is unknown when the video was originally recorded, but @VanessaFex did mention in the caption to a previous video that the posts were a "throwback".

The video has amassed over 10.1 million views since it was posted, with many TikTokers taking to the comments section to praise Bieber for how he handled the situation.

"People are ALLOWED to set boundaries," one person wrote. "He said follow him anywhere else JUST NOT HIS HOME! I think that's pretty understandable."

A second added: "He's a human too. Respect for him to explaining politely & calm".

Sadly, this is not the first time Bieber has publicly had to ask his fans not to gather at his residences.

Per Billboard, back in October 2020, the 'Sorry' singer took to his Instagram Stories to write the following message to his followers:

"How do you convince yourself it's not completely inappropriate and disrespectful to wait outside my home to gawk, stare and take pictures as I walk into my apartment. This is not [a] hotel. It's my home."

Let's hope more and more fans see this and start respecting their idols' personal space and privacy.
