Justin Bieber responded to a deeply emotional Instagram post from his mom, Pattie Mallette, following rumors he is upset about Selena Gomez's wedding.
While Justin hasn't spoken out about the wedding, his mother's comment section is filled with people noting that he may be upset by it given their romantic past.
But his pretty blunt response should put rumors to bed.
Justin Bieber's Mom Fuels Speculation
Pattie Mallette took to Instagram to share a heartfelt image of her son, accompanied by an impassioned prayer.
"We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin. 🙏 I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name," she wrote.
Her words continued with a fervent request for divine intervention in her son’s life: "Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS. Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT.
"Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord. Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace."
While Pattie’s words were full of devotion and love, Justin’s response was unexpectedly light-hearted, leaving many to question the tone of his reaction.
His response was somewhat sarcastic: "Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong."
No further comments have been made by Pattie regarding Justin's reply, leaving the situation to simmer quietly for now.
Despite many in the comments believing that Pattie's comments are related to Selena Gomez's wedding, it seems as if Justin is doing just fine.
Francia Raisa Breaks Silence on Tension Rumors with Selena Gomez: "What You’re Asking Me Is Nonsense"
In other news regarding Selena Gomez, fans have speculated about the relationship between the musician and her friend, actress Francia Raisa, particularly following Raisa’s life-saving kidney donation to Gomez in 2017.
After enduring rumors of a rift, particularly surrounding allegations that Raisa was upset over Gomez’s smoking habits post-transplant, Raisa has finally cleared the air in an interview with Univision’s Primer Impacto.
In a direct response to the gossip, Raisa dismissed the rumors with a candid statement: "What you’re asking me is nonsense," she said bluntly. "There are too many rumors. When that rumor came out that I had gotten angry or something like that because [Selena] was smoking, I wasn’t even aware of those rumors."
Despite the chatter surrounding their friendship, Raisa remains tight-lipped about the specifics, but she confirmed, “No one knows what’s going on, and neither she nor I are talking about it. One day, maybe we will address it.”

The Heartfelt Friendship That Saved a Life
Beyond the speculation, Raisa and Gomez share a bond that dates back over a decade. Their friendship began long before the kidney donation made headlines worldwide.
The two first met while starring in hit TV shows—Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place and Raisa in The Secret Life of the American Teenager—and their paths remained intertwined in the years that followed.
In 2017, when Gomez’s lupus complications caused her kidney function to deteriorate, Francia Raisa stepped up and donated her kidney to save her friend’s life. The act of kindness became a defining moment for both women, solidifying their connection in the public eye.
Addressing the Wedding Drama: Francia Raisa Comments on Selena Gomez’s Private Nuptials
The plot thickened earlier this year with rumors swirling around Raisa’s absence at Selena Gomez’s private wedding to producer Benny Blanco. Despite the star-studded guest list, Raisa was noticeably absent, prompting some to wonder if there was a deeper rift between the two.
However, Raisa kept her comments classy and diplomatic when discussing the wedding. "I know she’s getting married, and I’m very happy for her," Raisa stated. "She has a life, and she is already a billionaire, and I am grateful that I could do that for her."
Her comments reflect a mature perspective on their relationship, emphasizing that any perceived tension has nothing to do with the kidney donation.
Raisa’s viewpoint is clear: "From the beginning, the doctors told me it’s a donation. If you donate a dollar to St. Jude, you don’t call to ask, ‘What are you doing with my dollar?’ It’s something kind you do. I’m grateful that I’m alive and can say I saved a life."
Rumors and Reality: Navigating the Complex Friendship Between Raisa and Gomez
Despite Raisa’s attempts to quell the rumors, speculation about a feud between her and Gomez has been ongoing.
In 2022, Gomez was quoted in an interview saying that Taylor Swift was her only friend in the entertainment industry. The comment quickly became fodder for gossip, especially after Raisa’s subtle response.
She left a cryptic "interesting" comment on Instagram before unfollowing Gomez shortly thereafter. However, the two appeared to reconcile in 2023, with Gomez sharing a heartfelt birthday tribute to Raisa, describing their bond as "unbreakable."
In the same year, Raisa attended Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund Benefit and reflected on the complexities of their relationship. "We trauma-bonded, which is beautiful but can get rocky," Raisa explained. "People grow, relationships change. Sometimes you need to spend time apart to grow. We had to go on our own journeys."
Despite the ups and downs, Raisa emphasized that any tension between them had "nothing to do with the kidney," underscoring the fact that their bond is much deeper than the rumors that have swirled around them.
