Kim Kardashian has shared the details of her gruesome finger injury.

This week on the hit Hulu series, The Kardashians, the 43-year-old SKIMS founder opened up about a finger injury that she describes as "more painful than childbirth".

The reality TV star arrived at her doctor’s office with two fingers on her left hand bandaged and was asked by a producer what happened.

She then revealed that she slammed her hand into the sliding doors of her bathroom, causing the bone to break off the tip of one of her finger, slicing the skin open to leave it visible.

The mom-of-four revealed that as her bathroom door has no “no latch," she usually stops it with her hand. However, this time she "pulled it really hard, and then Saint ran in with chips,” referring to the eight-year-old son she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.

“I’m like, ‘It’s 8:30 at night, no chips!’” she said, adding that while she was distracted by her son, the door “went ‘boom,’ and I was like, ‘Ugh.’

“I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground," she shared, as a “graphic images” warning flashed on the screen.

Kardashian said the pain was “horrible” and her “whole body” went “in shock.”

The episode showed the business mogul meeting with plastic surgeon Dr. John Layke at his office.

She removed the splint to show the bloody mess at the top of her finger, to which her doctor said: “That looks great,” her doctor says, prompting her to ask, “You think that looks great?”

“I do, because a lot of that is just a little bit of dried blood and some oozing," he said, before cleaning her wound up with peroxide - a mild antiseptic used on the skin to prevent infection of cuts, scrapes, and burns.

Kardashian quipped that she wanted to make she she would not need to have an amputation on her finger. Dr. Layke reassured her that she will not get an amputation but added: “I think you dodged a bullet...It could have been really bad."

After the reality star completed her medical appointment, she disclosed that the doctor said the “tip broke off” meaning there's a possibility her nail would “never grow back".

However, she seemed unfazed by the revelation as she joked that she would then “invent a nail implant".

Kardashian shared that she’s been doing a hyperbaric chamber to help her finger recover after the stomach-churning injury.

According to John Hopkins Medicine, hyperbaric chambers involve "exposing the body to 100% oxygen at a pressure that is greater than normal" so that it can speed up the healing process.
