Britney Spears has sparked concern among fans after posting - and then quickly deleting - a disturbing video where her finger seems to be bandaged.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday and uploaded a 47-second clip of herself dancing while only sporting a black body-form cut-out top and skimpy cheetah print bottoms.
The star paired the look with some calf-length heeled boots and her classic makeup look which consisted of thick, black eyeliner and a nude lip. On one of her index fingers was a white bandage wrapped tightly around the entire thing - which sparked concern from her 42.2 million followers.
The video was then deleted but some fans managed to save it beforehand and then repost it to TikTok to help it reach a wider audience.
Have a look at the repost below:TikTokers took to the comments to address the star's behavior, with some even going as far as branding the entire thing as "bizarre."
"This is bizarre," one user stated while another added that they "just feel bad for [her]."
A third even referred to a previous video that also sparked major concern amongst her fans writing: "That knife must've been sharp with that bandage on your finger."
The clip in question was posted on September 25 and is still available to watch on the 'Baby One More Time' singer's Instagram account. It shows yet another dance video but this time, Spears' props are large kitchen knives.
"I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives!!!," she wrote in the caption before adding: "Halloween is soon."
Watch the full video below:The star also posted another similar video dancing with her knives, but this time she provided a more detailed explanation so she wouldn't worry her fans.
"I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA. These are not real knives," she re-emphasized. "No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira... a performance I was inspired by !!!
"Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks," she added.
After the second video was posted, it seems as though someone called the police to do a welfare check on the singer, as she addressed a serious incident in a follow-up post.
"So unacceptable for cops to listen to random fans and come in to my home unwarranted," Spears wrote alongside a snapshot of someone wearing ballet shoes while standing on a pair of knives. "...Can I make calls and make others feel threatened in your home??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people did 4 minute performances with knives."
She continued: "I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now... ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!! As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong... nope it’s an old game.
She concluded: "People need to be responsible for their actions! It’s about power for cops."
