Kim Kardashian has gotten herself a reputation for posting steamy pictures on Instagram.
But, while she obviously adores taking them, it was recently revealed that her husband, Kanye West, isn't as keen. In fact, according to Kim, they often "upset" him.
During a recent appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the reality TV star was asked by the host if the sexy images bother her husband.
She admitted they did, saying: "You can get in trouble with your husband sometimes over too many photos like that. Yeah, it does [bother him], you know it’s like half and half. He always wants me to be me and feel confident and we’re having fun, but it also bothers him."
"But you still do it?" asked Ellen.
In response, the 38-year-old admitted that Kanye's opinion of her photos did influence her to a certain degree, stating that she changed her mind on the subject a lot.
"I go through waves,"she explained. "Like sometimes I’m like, 'Okay, I’ll be more conservative on my Instagram' and sometimes I really need to get something out if I’m feeling good about myself or I’ve been working out really hard, and I’ll post something and he’ll get upset. It’s a cycle."
Her confession divided fans online, many of whom believed that the rapper had no right to cast judgment on his wife's pictures.
"At the end of the day Kim has always displayed a sexy image and she's never shied away from that. That's who she is..If Kanye isnt happy with that he shouldn't have married her (sic)," argued Tianna Miller.
Someone called Dionysia Dinius agreed, writing: "'But you still do it' Yeah cause your husband doesn't get to decide what YOU do with YOUR body [sic.]"
However, other people could see where Kanye was coming from with Gladys Simmons putting: "I think all husband would be upset, at that, keep on being you Kim keep doing you Kim and I love you Kanye!!!! [sic]"
The mother-of-three has been attacked by several celebrities in the past for her raunchy escapades online.
Notably, there was Chloë Grace Moretz, who commented on a naked picture Kim had uploaded to social media, saying: "@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer."
It was the beginning of a feud between the pair, with Kim swooping back in to throw some shade at the actress, who she believed had slut-shamed her.
"let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo [sic]," she replied, referencing Chloë's spot on the front of the December/January 2016 cover of Nylon, wearing what initially appeared to be just a jacket. It was later clarified that she was wearing a bodysuit underneath.
After being sent a Valentine's Day 'revenge gift' of Kim's new perfume, the Kickass star opened up about the situation, saying: "My mom took the most offence to it because it was girl-on-girl hate, and Kim didn’t come back with an educated response on body confidence."
She continued: "It was aggressive, and also it was incorrect. I don’t have 45 million followers or a TV show that follows my life. But people know who I am. I pride myself on having opinions, and I don’t express them in snarky ways toward people."
At the end of the day, love her or hate her, Kim will always be a woman with her own mind.
