Last February, the Kardashians took a trip to to Japan. And on behalf of the United States, I would like to say, I'm sorry, Japan. First you had to suffer a visit from Logan Paul, the obnoxious YouTuber who mocked a suicide victim in the Aokigahara Forest. Then you had to deal with Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian sauntering around, saying "Facts! Bible! OKURRR!" Deepest apologizes, Japan. We're not sending you our best.

All right, I'm kidding, the Kardashians are not as bad as Logan Paul. Everybody knows about the clip where Logan mocked a dead man, but the other footage from his trip to Japan was pretty cringeworthy as well. He paraded around in stereotypical Japanese clothing (a straw hat and kimono), which some people found offensive. It's great to experience other cultures, but when you turn them into a gaudy costume, you look foolish.

In a new clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim criticizes her sisters' fashion choices during their trip to Japan. "You guys, you look like f***ing clowns. I’m not f***ing kidding,” says the reality star, while rocking neon pink hair, which does not look clownish at all. "This is not a tourist thing where it’s like, Halloween, dress up like a f***ing Japanese geisha, unless we’re at a geisha house." Kourtney says she thought her outfit was "fun for Japan," and Kim replies, maybe, "If you didn’t have f***ing blue eye shadow."

Kourtney shared a photo of her look on Instagram, and yeah, the blue eyeshadow is a bit much. Kim, who continues to rock neon pink hair, thinks her sister's should tone down the vibrant colors: "Everyone just thinks, 'Oh my God, we’re in Japan! Everyone go full Japan!' And probably the people that live here make fun of people like that and I literally am like, cropping myself out of turquoise, yellow. Like, I just think you gotta chill."

Kim makes a good point. If Kourtney and Khloé continue to rock garish colors, people might start making fun. Can you imagine people making fun of the Kardashians? In America, they're treated with nothing but the greatest honor and respect.

Anyway, Kourtney and Khloé don't want to tell their glam squad to go easy on the clown paint. "You can be cooler," Kim insists, while continuing to rock hair the color of Pepto-Bismol. "I'm not telling you guys who to be or what to wear or anything — but I’m telling you who to be and what to wear! It could be time for like, a fashion overhaul so that you stay young and relevant."

That's where the clip ends, so you'll have to watch their show on Sunday to see how the debate works out. I hope they embrace the clown look, and spend the rest of their trip to Japan dressed like Pennywise from It.
