From infamously snapchatting a list of her enemies to hitting back at people who accused her of photoshopping her Insta snaps, Kim Kardashian isn't exactly someone known for keeping schtum when it comes to what's on her mind. And it's fair to say that that's even more true when it comes to family - remember the time she tore into Lamar Odom for apparently dissing her sister Khloé?

Well, she's at it again. This week though, it's husband Kanye West that she's stepped in to defend, slamming musician Rhymefest - real name Che Smith - for comments he made about Kanye and his lack of involvement in the Chicago charity the the two co-founded back in 2011.

Donda's House was set up to honour the memory of Kanye's mom, and provides access and learning opportunities for young people in Chicago to help them to break into the arts, culture & entertainment industries. However, in a series of tweets, Rhymefest accused Kanye of neglecting the charity and said that he had "abandoned" parts of Chicago. He also reached out to fellow rapper Drake, asking him to fill the gap in the charity that Kanye had left.

In a statement, Donda's House furthermore said that they had struggled "to secure the financial support of Kanye despite multiple attempts, and despite those early conversations about his plan of support and advocacy for the youth in our programs."

Now, a furious Kim hit back in a series of angry tweets, calling out Rhymefest for having "audacity to use Kanye’s mom name to try to shead a negative light on Kanye". Clearly willing to make it personal, she added:  "U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @RHYMEFEST You’re over levergenging Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation"

And she didn't stop there either, with Kim threatening to take control of the charity: "You better believe I will make it my mission to take Donda’s House from you and let my children run it the way it should be run!"

In response to Kim's rant, Donda's House issued a statement indicating that they would soon be changing their name, seemingly announcing their desire to cut ties with the Kardashian and West families: "Due to recent events that have occurred over the last 48 hours, we have decided to no longer use the name Donda's House Inc. This has been an incredibly difficult decision but the social media quotes from Kim Kardashian West, as well as the expressed interest of her family running the organisation, has brought us to this decision."

Where the power struggle will go next remains to be seen, but one thing looks clear: that Kim K and Kanye aren't going to be backing down any time soon.
