Fans were left confused after Kris Jenner's makeup artist posted a heavily-filtered video of the reality TV star.

On Monday (August 28), makeup artist Samer Khouzami took to Instagram to share footage of the Kardashians star on his page. As he tagged Jenner, the video ended up appearing on her main grid and in the feeds of her 52.6 million followers.

Set over the audio of an iconic Keeping Up with the Kardashians clip, the footage displayed the notable businesswoman smiling for the camera while sporting a a black and white polka dot shirt.

"The momager @krisjenner for todays #glam," Khouzami added in the caption.

Watch the video below:

The family matriarch's skin appeared unnaturally smooth and completely wrinkle-free in the video. This led to her followers calling her out in the comments, with one person describing the use of the filter as "ridiculous," while another said: "What the hell is happening that’s not her face."

A third said it was "disgusting" that Jenner used a filter when she's already "flawless," adding: "It should be a law that you HAVE to disclose filters. You’re doing a disservice to not only the little girls and teens across the world but your own daughters and grandbabies. Shame on you."

A fourth person chimed in: "Girl shame, show your natural skin. [You're] stating it's not okay to grow older and you have to hide your skin with harsh filters to be accepted and feel beautiful when that’s not true. Like we all know you don’t look like that so why do you even bother for? Aging is a beautiful thing and you should wear it proudly. It’s okay."

However, others took a more sympathetic approach and actually called out the makeup artist instead.

They urged him to re-post the video without the filter because "being a master makeup artist this just gives clients the wrong illusion and this is things they expect instead of seeing pours which is totally normal".

"How embarrassing for the makeup artist, still having to heavily filter the client lol," someone else said, while a third added: "She is f***ing stunning - but please show us this look without the ridiculous filter though? She doesn’t need it."

The KarJenners often face accusations of editing their social media posts.

From Khloe Kardashian deleting a post after fans pointed out an alleged Photoshop failure, to Kim Kardashian being called out for making her neck and shoulders look smaller, they are no strangers to the allegations.

In addition to this, it also isn't the first time Jenner was caught altering her appearance online as back in 2014, she came under fire after sharing a heavily filtered picture of herself with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

The 56-year-old Brit was almost unrecognizable in the infamous snap as his trademark forehead wrinkles were smoothed out while he stood next to an unblemished Jenner.

Jenner garnered more outrage on the social media platform after Ramsey shared his own version of the picture, but this time it was unedited and revealed the pair's natural faces.

Nevertheless, the reality TV star was unbothered by the widespread reaction to her makeup artist's post as she also shared the "ridiculous" video to her Instagram story.
