I don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to say that Kristen Bell is the absolute best. Just in case you didn't catch her in Veronica Mars or Forgetting Sarah Marshall (in which case, you're totally missing out because she's great in both of those), you were admiring her voice work in Frozen and Gossip Girl.
Even if you're not familiar with those works (if so, congratulations for getting WiFi from that rock you're living under), you're probably familiar with Bell in real life, where she's a fantastic mom to two kids and wife with Dax Shephard, in what looks to be the perfect family.

But like most people, Kristen Bell probably sprang back into your consciousness with her star turn as Eleanor Shellstrop in the Good Place, which is one of the best shows on television at the moment. Thanks to her role on the NBC show, she was at the Golden Globes earlier this week, where she - of course - stole the show.
Of course, in her various roles, Bell's no stranger to the Globes, and over the years, she's probably rocked quite a few outfits. But getting into shape for those outfits can be challenging, even at the best of times. With a stressful lifestyle and kids to take care of, fitting into those outfits could be a nightmare, couldn't it?

But ahead of the Golden Globes this year, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for her work in the Good Place, Kristen Bell had a plan. Well, that's at least what this Instagram post seemed to suggest. I'd take this with a pinch of salt, folks.
"I can’t remember exactly, but I’m pretty sure the rule is to eat as much as humanly possible before squeezing into a formal dress. Right?" Bell mused on social media, as an Instagram post showed her looking intensely at a plate of food. I don't know, Kristen, I've heard similar things. Give it a go.

Well, whatever she decided to do before the big day, it clearly worked; Bell looked absolutely amazing alongside her husband Dax Shephard, as did everybody present at the 2019 Golden Globes.
It's been a pretty good one for fans of food and drink, on the whole - a girl carrying Fiji water bottles was undoubtedly the star of this year's event, while Melissa McCarthy made sure everybody was fed with as many as 40 ham sandwiches.
Meanwhile, breakout star Lady Gaga fuelled up on Fruity Pebbles after blowing everyone away in A Star Is Born, although she narrowly missed out on the Best Actress gong, she had a great time all around. Congrats to all the winners at the Golden Globes this year, it was a really good year for film and television, but luckily for me, it was also a great year for food.
