Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have given fans their first look into their new life as parents, just weeks after announcing the adoption of their baby girl.
In a post shared on August 21, the couple, who got married in 2024, revealed that they had welcomed their sweet daughter through adoption.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” they wrote in a post. "And then there were 3."
Fast forward to Monday (September 1), the 21-year-old Stranger Things star posted a series of heartwarming snapshots on Instagram.
The photos, which featured a mix of family moments and playful images, were captioned with baby bottle, sparkle, and duck emojis.
Among the highlights was a sweet mirror selfie of the new parents, Brown rocking a matching leopard-print headscarf and bralette, and a sunset picture. Another candid shot showed Brown holding luggage as she walked through a security screening, followed by an amusing photo of a pig.
But it was the image of Bongiovi, 23, holding their newborn daughter in a carrier while walking toward a plane on a tarmac that truly captured fans’ hearts. Although the baby’s face was not visible, the white blanket peeking from the carrier offered a glimpse of their growing family.
The post quickly garnered an outpouring of congratulations from fans. "Happy for you guys and this next journey in your lives," one user wrote, while another said: "Cutest parents ever."
A third quipped: "Jake on dad duty we love to see it," while a fourth added: "Good luck in this new phase of your life. You will be wonderful parents."
Before the adoption, the Enola Holmes actress had been open about her lifelong desire to become a mother.
On the SmartLess podcast earlier this year, she explained: “My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
Brown’s dream of motherhood has always been an essential part of her life, and the couple’s path to parenthood aligns with that vision.
She also spoke about her openness to adoption, saying: “For me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as adopting… The energy in our house is the door is always open.”
A source close to the couple told PEOPLE that Brown and Bongiovi have been focused on building a special family life together in Georgia.
"She loves her farm - it's going to be such a special place for the baby to grow up," the insider continued. "Even before they were married, she often spoke about her wish to be a young mom. And Jake was always on the same page. They're in it together."
