New Hampshire police have an active arrest warrant for Marilyn Manson.

On Tuesday, the Gilford Police Department announced in a Facebook post that the 52-year-old musician is wanted on an arrest warrant for two counts of Class A misdemeanor simple assault.

The alleged assault occurred on August 18, 2019, during one of Manson's concerts at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.

According to the Gilford Police Department, the alleged incident involved a videographer who had been working at the time. The individual was subcontracted by a North Hampshire company to record the concert. They were in the stage pit area when the alleged encounter took place.

Police went on to reveal that Manson, his agent, and his legal team had actually been aware of the warrant for some time. However, the rocker had failed to return to the state and respond to the pending charges.

While the exact nature of the alleged assault is not specified in the Facebook post, it was clarified that it was not "sexual in nature".

According to People, the incident in question revolved around the fact that Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, had spit in the direction of the camera - some of which landed on the videographer's arm.

Manson's attorney Howard King told the outlet that the videographer had asked for $35,000 for the effects on his camera equipment.

He added: "It is no secret to anyone who has attended a Marilyn Manson concert that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of a camera.

"This misdemeanor claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply.

"This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."

However, despite the attorney's claim that the matter revolved solely around a "small amount of spit", three people at the concert - including a security guard - said that they saw Manson spit and "shoot his snot" at a camerawoman.

One attendee told People: "He was spitting everywhere and one time it got on her camera so she wiped it off and looked semi-irritated. He noticed this and kept purposely spitting on her camera.

"I think her final straw is he got on the floor, got within 2-3 feet of her, and hacked a giant snot rocket at her not the camera. She was pissed off and disgusted so she stormed off and he just laughed."

A second attendee confirmed that Manson deliberately shot his snot over the woman and laughed afterward.

Per People, a security guard added on Facebook that he was "right there when it happened, she was beyond furious when he did that to her".

The security guard added: "He spit on her a couple of times and then leaned real close to the camera and blew a huge snot rocket on her. After he did that, she almost threw her camera right down on the ground."

A Class A misdemeanor in North Hampshire could result in a jail sentence of less than one year and a fine of no more than $2,000, according to police.

This comes after at least 16 people accused Manson of misconduct earlier this year, after Evan Rachel Wood's explosive allegations.

Manson vehemently denied the allegations as "distortions of reality" in a statement on his Instagram.
