The Hollywood heartbreaker and comedian who dated Kim Kardashian sang his ex’s praises on the latest episode of his chat show The Pete Davidson Show.
On Friday’s episode, Pete Davidson asked comedian Nikki Glaser, Kardashian’s co-star in the upcoming Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel: “Isn’t it crazy Kim’s good at acting?”
Davidson, 32, reminisced on the nine months that the pair dated, saying: “I remember when we were dating, one day she was just like, ‘I think I’m gonna be an actress.’ And I was just like, ‘F**k yeah!’
"And then [she’s] just good at it and I’m like, ‘Get the f**k out of here.’ She’s so good at acting.”
Her co-star Glaser agreed with the fellow comedian, calling the mum of four “so smart" and adding: “Anything she wants to do, she will do it.
“Especially if people are like, ‘You can’t do this.’ And for her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway, she knew … everyone’s gonna look for her to fail,” Glaser gushed.
The Golden Globes host noted that it is not an easy feat to take on a project when “you know people are gonna try to find your weakness.”
Despite the couple’s split in August 2022 following nine months of dating after Kardashian divorced her ex-husband, Kanye West, Davidson called the Skims mogul “superhuman”.
The Bodies Bodies Bodies actor also confessed that he “learned from” Kardashian that she can do anything she puts her mind to, despite what the public might think.
Davidson quipped: “Like, she don’t give a f**k. It’s unbelievable.”
The queen of the Kardashians made her acting debut on Season 12 of American Horror Story: Delicate in 2023, not long after the couple went their separate ways.
Just a couple of years later, the multi-faceted businesswoman played a lead character in Hulu’s All’s Fair, a legal drama about a team of female divorce attorneys navigating high-stakes cases and personal conflicts.
It may be thanks to her ongoing legal training that she landed this role. Further proving Glaser’s claim: “Anything she wants to do, she will do,” Kardashian began training to become a lawyer in 2018.
Davidson and Kardashian have retained an amicable relationship since splitting up four years ago, despite the reality star’s ex-husband, rapper Kanye West, repeatedly launching social media attacks on him during the relationship.
A source close to Davidson told Page Six at the time that the King of Staten Island star was “ignoring all of the Kanye hate out of respect for Kim.”
In spite of the public drama, the source claimed: “They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
