In a recent post made on her Instagram stories, the Australian actress shared an image of her scales, showing that thanks to her new diet and exercise regime, she'd managed to shed a whopping 28 kilograms and reach her ideal weight of 75kg.
In a caption addressed to her 9.3 million followers, the Australian actress and comedian wrote:
"Hit my goal with one month to spare! Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 [kilograms].
"I wanna go live on Insta on Tuesday when I'm back in the US to share stuff with you guys and thank everyone for their support."

Now Rebel has taken to her Instagram account once again to delight her fans with a poolside bikini snap made in honor of her slim new physique. In the post's caption, she wrote:
"Thank you to Dr Schubert and all of the team @vivamayraltaussee in beautiful Austria. I’m going to start 2021 in an amazing place, with a healthy body and mind...and boosted immune system!
"Love the care you all put into your patients - I am so grateful! Now on to maintaining the weight loss and the healthy lifestyle!"
Suffice it to say, Rebel's post received a lot of attention from her fans; boasting more than 343,000 likes and scores of comments as of the time of writing.
For instance, one person wrote: "Thank you for sharing your journey so genuinely with us", while someone else added: "You have worked so incredibly hard and you are absolutely glowing."
In a candid recent interview, Rebel revealed that she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome - a hormonal condition that can cause rapid weight gain in certain cases.
Rebel stated: "I've been overweight for about 20 years. I started gaining weight when I was about 20. I had something called PCOS—polycystic ovarian syndrome - and I gained weight rapidly.
Rebel also spoke about her health struggles in this hour-long Instagram Live video:

"It's just a hormone imbalance and you gain a lot of weight usually and that's how it manifested in me. Sometimes, I feel sad, but then at the same time, I worked my body to my advantage.
She added: "I like being all sizes. It's just now turning 40, I am more health-conscious and thinking of starting a family."

"I don’t want to project the message that being smaller is better because I don’t really believe that. I was just engaging in pretty unhealthy habits, like eating a tub of ice cream every night and stuff, that wasn’t actually helping me. It just felt good in the moment."
According to the NHS, polycystic ovarian syndrome is characterized by irregular periods caused by infrequent ovulation, the production of excess androgen (which can cause excess facial or body hair), and the enlargement of the ovaries.
The condition is one of the main causes of female infertility and can lead to a range of other health issues, such as type 2 diabetes, depression, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure.
