The actress, who announced her engagement on Instagram in February last year, revealed she inadvertently took an "illegal photo," leading to the ban.

"I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo inside a secret bathroom, which is illegal, at Disneyland," Rebel explained during her appearance on The Daily Show.

Fortunately, Disneyland management was understanding of the situation and even allowed her to coordinate the ban around her work commitments.

She explained: "They called me up and said, 'Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland because you're away filming a movie or something?' I was like, 'Oh, well, June would be fine.'"

Rebel also mentioned that she had sought permission from Disney CEO Bob Iger to propose to Ramona at the park.

Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, she said: "He's the big, big boss and I thought, 'Well, if he says yes, then it was meant to be, and I was meant to propose that day at Disneyland.'"

Describing the special moment, Rebel said the proposal took place in a roped-off area of the park, with a violinist playing Disney classics to set the romantic tone. "It was the most magical proposal place on Earth," she added.

As for the proposal itself, Rebel shared that after she got down on one knee, Ramona responded with, "Well, you can't be the only one on your knee," and joined her. Rebel happily concluded, "It was just beautiful, and she said yes!"
