Case in point: Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland, took to social media earlier this week to show the process of getting her butt tattoo removed. Ouch!

According to Women's Health, the 28-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to share a video of her laying on her stomach in a doctor's office, while wearing protective goggles.

"Actual reaction to some laser tattoo removal," Hyland captioned the clip, and in it she can be heard saying "Oof that hurt. Spicy," as she contorts her face in pain.

While she doesn't specify which tattoo she had removed, there are two possible candidates: a purple dinosaur tat on her bum, or an arrow between her shoulder blades.

Judging by the positioning of the doctor, it looks like its the dinosaur inking which got the chop. But until the actress confirms it, it's impossible to know for sure.

The dinosaur ink is actually a matching tattoo that Hyland and her friend, Kati Welch, both have. Back in 2017, the 28-year-old shared a poolside picture to Instagram of them both showing off their tats.

"We believe in dinosaurs #dinobootybabies," she captioned the bikini snap.
