Taylor Swift's mom recorded her in a hilarious post-surgery video
Pop star, Taylor Swift, got quite the surprise during her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon yesterday, to promote her upcoming performance on Saturday Night Live.
Host, Jimmy Fallon, turned the tables on the Style singer when he showed the audience an awkward, albeit adorable, video of Taylor after she had Lasik eye surgery, which was recorded by her mother, Andrea Swift.
Watch the hilarious clip below:
The video is just hilarious, as Taylor is clearly super out of it post-surgery. She sports a plastic eye mask to protect her eyes, and fumbles to get a banana. Once she manages to get a banana loose from the bunch, however, things take a turn for the worse as she decides that it's not the banana she wanted - cue laughter from the audience.
We then see Taylor eating her banana in bed, and her mom proceeds to warn her to not fall asleep while eating. Taylor reassures her, saying "I'm not asleep. My mind is alive."
Too funny, right?
During the appearance, Taylor also touched on what songs she'd be playing during this Saturday's SNL episode, which will be hosted by Fleabag creator, Phoebe Waller-Bridge. "I'll perform 'Lover'," she disclosed, "but in a way that I haven't performed it before. And then I'm gonna do a song that I have never performed before at all."
Well, we'll just have to wait till Saturday night to see what Taylor decides to perform, either way, we have this hilarious clip to keep us entertained in the meantime.
