We have a happy announcement to make: Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the gigantic actor who portrays Gregor Clegane (aka: 'The Mountain') on HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones, has gotten married. Now, as adorable as that is, the contrast in size between him and his new wife is downright incredible. That's not a dig at her by the way - anyone would look titchy when compared to Björnsson. Weighing more than 400 lbs, the Icelandic strongman and actor is no slouch when it comes to working out. He's so swole that he's already managed to win the title of Europe's Strongest Man a whopping total of four times.

The couple finally tied the knot in a private ceremony over the weekend; exchanging vows together with friends and family. However, the two of them were gracious enough to upload a picture of their nuptials to their respective Instagram accounts, and it's fair to say that fans were left gushing over how romantic the snaps were.

Thor captioned his wedding photo: "It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!❤️. I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side. @kelc33 ?? #justmarried." Meanwhile, Kelsey followed it up with an Instagram post of her own, where she wrote: "Looking forward to pulling this big guy around for the rest of my life. ♥️ @thorbjornsson I love you now and forever and promise to stand by your side through all that life throws at us. I love you baby! ????"

Fans had plenty of congratulations for the newlyweds, with one commenter writing: "Congratulations u two ? it‘s probably something, such strong people as u don’t normally hear but ... u look seriously amazingly cute together. U guys have found something, so many others are searching for their entire life. [sic]" Another person added: "Congratulations beautiful people, keep being part of the magic!"

Björnsson and Henson first met each other back in 2017 in Canada, at a bar where Kelsey worked as a waitress. Kelsey, who knew him already from watching Game of Thrones, allegedly asked Thor for a picture, and afterwards struck up a conversation. Romance quickly blossomed between them not long after that night.

Still, it's definitely true that Björnsson isn't a guy you want to mess with. Recently, Björnssoon revealed that he'd once had a sparring session with Conor McGregor, and claimed that he felt like he had to go easy on the Irish fighter due to his own gigantic proportions. Björnsson stated: "Yes, I had a sparring session with him. Just a joke one. A while ago, before his big fight against Aldo. I had to hold myself back because I have too much power for a man of his size. If I would push all my power into him I would crush him."
