Theories have once again emerged that Tupac is, in fact, alive - despite dying in a drive-by shooting on September 7, 1996, at the age of 25.

Often considered the greatest rapper of all time, Tupac's death would have been just that had it not been for a number of convincing sightings since then, which have convinced conspiracy theorists that it was all a coverup.

A man who bore a striking resemblance to the rapper was pictured repeatedly at a Boston basketball game in 2014.

Now, it has been claimed that the rapper, who would be 47, is living in secret in a jail in LA.

Tupac is pictured below in a 1995 mugshot from when he was accused of sexually assaulting a fan. He was subsequently charged with first-degree sexual abuse and went on to spend nine months behind bars.

The new claim was made by YouTuber "Ex Con Cody Lachey". It featured him going through the records on the LA County Sheriff's Department inmate information site and searching for Tupac's name.

Two incarceration records for the rapper were pulled up, matching the rapper's name, physical attributes, and date of birth.

The first "booking in" was from April 14, 2017, and the second, April 26, 2019.

"Tupac is supposed to be dead," Lachey says. "This is exactly the same as the other arrest - same height, same hair color, same weight."

"Guys - Tupac is alive, I am telling you guys. This is Tupac."

But the YouTuber's new evidence was not met with much positivity, with users branding it "laughable" and "clearly a joke."

However, the fact that the then 25-year-old joked about faking his own death just weeks before he was murdered in a drive-by shooting is still no coincidence for many.

Suge Knight made this revelation to NME, saying: "We was in Maui, you know what I mean, and Pac had, like, never been to Maui. And he got to talking about faking his own death.

"And Pac was more down for doing, like, the last little videos and s*** of him dying all in the white, you know what I'm saying', with Redd Foxx and everybody like that."

Even one of the rapper's friends, Too Short, believes that he isn't dead and a body double was cremated instead.
