Diddy's attorney has spoken about the rapper's mental health after reports claimed he was placed on suicide watch in prison.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after his arrest in New York City on September 16.
The 54-year-old pleaded not guilty but has been denied bail twice, despite offering a $50 million bail package.

It was previously claimed in a report by PEOPLE that the 'I'll Be Missing You' rapper was placed on suicide watch after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The publication states that sources described the move as a preventative measure as he is in shock. However, Combs's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, revealed in The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, a new TMZ documentary about the music mogul, that the rapper's state of mind is "positive".
According to TMZ, Combs is "focused" on his defense. "It's actually giving him a form of strength and confidence that will help him deal with being behind bars for an extended period," the outlet states.
The former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney also disclosed that the Bad Boys Records founder is planning to testify in his own defense at his forthcoming federal sex trafficking trial.
“There is nothing that could keep him off the stand. He is very eager to tell his own story,” Agnifilo said in a preview of the documentary.
It'll be a risky move for Combs as he'll most likely be cross-examined and questioned on various topics, including the civil complaint ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed last year, and the shocking footage that showed him physically assaulting her at a hotel.
But the attorney said the entrepreneur acknowledges that it's a dangerous move but believes there's no one better to defend him than himself.
"He has his story, and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it, in real-time," he said. "It's a human story. It's a story of love. It's a story of hurt. It's a story of heartbreak."

A lot of allegations have surfaced about the father-of-seven in recent weeks. A 14-page legal indictment revealed that Homeland Security allegedly discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube in his home, per The Independent.
It also stated that Combs and his associates allegedly threatened, abused, and coerced women and others around him “to fulfill his sexual desires” – which included "Freak Offs,” drug-fuelled sex performances that were allegedly recorded and directed by Combs.
According to a lawyer representing an accuser who claims Combs sexually assaulted her in 2018 - a "high-profile" individual was allegedly featured on one of the tapes.
Ariel Mitchell-Kidd said in an interview with NewsNation that it was a "catch and kill" situation and that she "can't explain" who the "high-profile" person in the video was but added: "I've seen stills of the video."
"So you can verify that it exists, that it's real, that the other person in the video is very visible... It's no question if it's that person in the video," she concluded.
If Diddy is found guilty, he faces a sentence of 15 years up to life in prison.
