Will Smith has taken to social media to reveal his new physique - months after the actor declared: "I'm in the worst shape of my life."

Like so many of us throughout the pandemic, the 53-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star found himself a little softer around the edges back in May.

Writing to his millions of social media followers, the actor shared a photo of himself wearing just underwear, slippers, and an unzipped jacket, along with the caption: ""I'm gonna be real wit yall - I’m in the worst shape of my life. [sic]"

And despite receiving an outpouring of praise for his honesty, it wasn't long before the Men In Black star vowed to change up his lifestyle and get in "the best shape" of his life.

Writing to his 55.5 million Instagram followers, Smith insisted that despite the fact he "loves" his body, it was time for a change.

"This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry," the actor wrote. "I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Teaming up with @YouTube to get my health & wellness back on track. Hope it works!"

Since then, Smith has been sharing regular updates from his new training regimen - posting videos of him lifting weights, hitting the treadmill, and even doing some yoga. And it would seem like all the hard work is finally paying off.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (October 18), Smith shared a new video showing a compilation of his most recent workouts - and he looks great!

Smith captioned the post: "And to think Sundays used to be for muffins" - check it out below:

As of this writing, the post has amassed over 480,000 'likes' and more than 2,000 comments - with many fans complimenting the star for his dedication, hard work, and impressive results:

One of the most poignant comments definitely came from YouTuber and brain coach Jim Kwik, who shared the following quote from Smith's inspiration movie, The Pursuit of Happyness:

"Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period."

So, consider this your Monday motivation - and go smash the rest of this week!
