A woman has gone viral after revealing how she got Taylor Swift to be her reference on a job application.
Taking to TikTok, Jennifer Champion was responding to a TikTok challenge that asked people to confess the "nice experiences" they have had with celebrities.
In a video that has now been viewed thousands of times, Jennifer said: "I have one that I've never shared before and it's obviously Taylor Swift-related.
"Last time I saw Taylor was 2015, 1989 Tour, and we were lucky enough to go backstage and meet her after the show, we were all catching up and she asked me what was going on in my life."
Watch the heartwarming TikTok below:Jennifer continued: "At that point, I was in the final two for my dream internship, she asked me if there was anything she could do to help and I jokingly was like 'I mean if you wanna be my reference' because I'd been working on her website and the job was in the music industry.
"She very seriously said 'yeah' and her and her mum and her manager took down the details of my application and said they were going to call and be my reference."
She continued: "Two days later I got a call to tell me I had the job and I was beyond over the moon.
"On my first day in the new office, our MD came up to me and said, 'Oh so you're the girl that Taylor loves'.
"She had called. Taylor Swift was my reference for my internship, which has now been my job for the last five and a half years."
Jennifer went on to post a follow-up video where she revealed that she had worked on the website Taylor Connect while at university and had met the now 31-year-old star a number of times before telling her about her job.
Watch the follow up below:She added: "I had met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, I'd built up somewhat of a relationship with her, she knew who I was, so I wasn't just going in blind, asking someone who I'd never met before to be my reference - I wouldn't recommend doing that.
"The reason I hadn't really shared that story before was because I never wanted people to discredit me in my job, for people to think Taylor was the sole reason that I got my job because that is categorically not the case.
"I had already been picked for the job, my colleagues and I still laugh about it to this day as they remember that call coming in and they had already picked me, but it was just something nice in addition."
Shoutout to Taylor Swift for this act of kindness!
As per the Mirror, this is far from the first time that Taylor has gone above and beyond for her fans. She has previously helped them out by covering their education, bills, hospital fees and even sending personal handwritten letters!
