Sometimes in life, we can judge people before we know the full story, and this is something that Chadwick Boseman's Da 5 Bloods co-star Clarke Peters revealed today in a heartbreaking interview with Good Morning Britain.
He said that he judged Boseman for having an extensive entourage on set, including a doctor who massaged him between takes, and he branded him "precious" for it - without the knowledge that he was battling cancer.
Clarke, 68, said that he had no idea how Chadwick continued to work despite his ailing health and said that he was even able to run through a set in Thailand wearing a boiling ho suit.
Watch the emotional interview below:"When I look back at that time I have to say with a little bit of regret that I probably wasn't the most altruistic in that environment, but hindsight teaches us a lot of things," Clarke said.
"What I am addressing is, my wife asked what Chadwick was like, and I was really excited to work with him."
"And I said, 'He's a bit precious', because he's surrounded by people fawning over him. The Chinese practitioner who was massaging his back when he walks off set, he has a make up lady massaging his feet, his girlfriend is there holding his hand, I thought maybe the Black Panther thing went to his head. But now I regret having these thoughts, because they were really looking after him."
Good Morning Britain Host Ranvir Singh said: "Nobody knew, you didn't know, nobody knew he had colon cancer. He never acted tired."
Clarke replied: "Listen, we were in 104 degree weather, running with equipment up to 40lbs on our backs, going through these scenes, and that young man... I'm sorry," he stopped before covering his mouth as he cried.
"You were not to know," Singh assured him.

Clarke Peters was subsequently praised on social media for his vulnerability and honesty in the interview.
One viewer tweeted: "Poor #ClarkePeters feeling remorse often what we all go through when someone dies #GMB RIP Chadwick".
"Clarke Peters on #gmb right now. Wow! Raw. Insightful. Honest. Amazing. Well done on an empathetic interview @SeanFletcherTV & @ranvir01#ripchadwickboseman, " added another.
This comes after Chadwick Boseman hinted at his cancer battle in a resurfaced interview.
