Dick Van Dyke has recently revealed the main thing that keeps him young and thriving - his wife!
During a new interview with Yahoo, the 97-year-old opened up about how his wife, Arlene Silver, plays a crucial part in keeping his vibrant glow.
When asked what was his "secret for staying so youthful," the Mary Poppins alum replied: "Having a beautiful young wife half my age to take care of me - that works!"
Van Dyke and Silver have been married now for 11 years after the pair tied the knot back in February 2012, just a year after she moved into Van Dyke’s Malibu home. As per the Independent, the couple initially met at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2006 where Silver was working as a makeup artist and Van Dyke was making an appearance at the ceremony.

Although Van Dyke was 81 and she was 35 at the time, the two didn’t strike up a romance until after Van Dyke’s longtime partner Michelle Triola passed away from lung cancer in 2009.
During the interview, he also went on to add that his wife helps him maintain a "positive attitude" as well as encouraging him to keep a healthy lifestyle by working out three times a week.
"I advise everybody to do that, because that’s what ages people," he continued. "It’s just a stiffening up and not exercising their muscles and their lungs. Exercise is the answer."

And it seems as though she's doing a great job as the news comes shortly after the 97-year-old's recent appearance on The Masked Singer.

"I was so positive that nobody would ever guess it was me, that they would have somebody 97 years old on there," he explained. "I would say it’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever done. But they didn’t put a mask on me. They made a great big like Pumpkinhead thing that I had to do."
"It was a weird experience. I had two little peepholes I can see the audience with. It’s a good thing I’m not claustrophobic," he added.
