A short YouTube documentary about an Indian boy who was believed to be the world's youngest serial killer is haunting viewers.
Last year, verified channel BigBrainco. posted a short documentary on the platform titled: True Story of the World's Youngest Serial Killer.
The doc is about a boy named Amarjeet Sada, who was born in 1998 in the village of Mushahar in Bihar, India, and is thought to have murdered three people by the time he was eight years old. His victims included very young members of his own family,
According to The Mirror, the killings took place between 2006 and 2007, the first of which occurred when Sada was just seven years old.
Not much is known about the youngster's background, but it is believed that he was born into a poor family and that his father was employed as a labourer.
It was in 2006 that Sada allegedly murdered his six-year-old cousin - his uncle's daughter.
He's also believed to have killed his own sister who was just eight months old at the time.
His final victim was an even younger infant - a six-month old baby girl named Kushboo who lived nearby.
Her mother told authorities that she had left the little one sleeping alone at a school as she went off to do some errands. When she came back, her daughter was missing and a search was underway.
Some hours later, Sada is said to have confessed to police that he took Kushboo, struck her using bricks and strangled her to death.
He then allegedly led village locals to the exact place in a nearby field where he had tried to bury her.
According to Sada's uncle, some members of the family were apparently aware of the initial two killings but kept them under wraps as they were "family matters".
Sada was taken into police custody where he was said to have smiled at the officers and showed no remorse after confessing to killing his sister some months earlier and his cousin the year before
One of the investigators on the case said all the killings were similar in the way they were executed.
According to The Mirror, children cannot be jailed or sentenced to death in India, and so Sada was apparently detained in a children's home in the town of Munger until he turned 18.
He was reportedly released in 2016 and moved to a new city, although his exact whereabouts are unknown to this day.
Needless to say, viewers were absolutely spooked by the story, with many taking to the comments to share their initial thoughts.
One viewer wrote: "The most chilling element of the story is that he's still alive today and is roaming freely."
Another wrote: "So scary, we hope that nothing like this happen ever again."
A third alarmed viewer penned: "Amarjeet is roaming freely among people.."
