Kris Tyson has revealed her new name and pronouns and fans have flooded her with messages of support.
Kris, 27, rose to fame alongside MrBeast, who is a childhood friend of hers and is now the most subscribed YouTuber with over 150 million subscribers.
Back in May, Kris posted before and after pictures of herself on Twitter after starting hormone replacement therapy, with the images believed to be six years apart.
Referencing the video game The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, the 27-year-old wrote: "Me when Breath of the Wild came out VS. me when Tears of the Kingdom came out."
Kris has since sat down with fellow YouTube star Anthony Padilla where she has updated fans on her gender identity and pronouns - as well as noting that her name is now Kris, as opposed to Chris previously.
During the interview which was uploaded yesterday (July 21), Kris revealed that she has always felt that she is a woman and wanted to introduce her fanbase to her new self in a slow manner.
"I’ve been fully confident in that decision for over a year now. My idea was to play catch-up with the internet in the way that I discover myself," she said.

Kris explained that she began the process by growing out her hair and making changes to her appearance, as she revealed that she wasn't sure about who she was at that point, but she knew that she wasn't cis-gendered.
"I needed the freedom to express myself and figure out who I was and for a while I was gender fluid," she said. "I’m very proud of who I was and how I’ve gotten here - it took me a long time to get here - but I’m finally here so I’m not ashamed of all of that or anything, I’m actually really proud of it."
She also added that MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) had known about her journey with her identity for years before she began transitioning.
Fans who watched the video flooded the comments section with messages of support for the YouTube star, as one read: "I’m so happy that Kris is finally comfortable with being herself! love her so much! She’s so strong. managing to be herself although many people are hating on her. she’s truly amazing. love you Kris."
A second person penned: "It brings me so much joy to see as big a creator as Kris slowly ease into herself and set a precedent of trans visibility within an online space as large as hers! Imagine the amount of young queer children who will feel increasingly comfortable in their identities through Kris. Her bravery will enkindle so much good I know it."
The comments were full of support for Kris, and she deserves every positive word!
