YouTuber Chris Tyson has shared an update with their fans after starting hormone replacement therapy.

On Monday (May 15), the internet personality - who is known for regularly appearing on MrBeast's popular YouTube channel with 153 million subscribers - posted before and after pictures of themselves on Twitter.

Alongside the two images, which are believed to be six years apart, the 26-year-old wrote: "Me when Breath of the Wild came out VS. me when Tears of the Kingdom came out."

Tyson's caption was referencing the video game The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, which dropped on Nintendo Switch last week.

Check out the pictures below:

According to Cleveland Clinic, hormone replacement therapy generally helps gender-nonconforming people achieve a more traditionally masculine or feminine appearance.

After Tyson shared the pictures, many delighted fans on the social media platform took to the comment section to send their support and praise. One joyful user wrote: "Chris, you look so cute and happy. I'm so extremely thrilled for you and glad you get to do this. Congrats babe."

Another user said: "Idc what yall say, Chris has the biggest glow up ever," while a third commented: "Damn wow, amazing. thats all I can say!!!"

The content creator - who notes in their Twitter bio that they use "any pronouns" - first informed their almost 300K followers in April that they'd started hormone replacement therapy two months prior.

Tyson reflected on the impact it has had on their life by writing: "Informed consent HRT saved my and many others' lives. The hurdles gnc people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies."

MrBeast - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - sent his support to his video collaborator under that tweet by writing: "Gotchu" with three heart emojis.

The most subscriber YouTuber in the world has also spoken in defense of Tyson after he faced anti-trans backlash for receiving the treatment. He replied to a user who accused him of being a "yes-man coward" by calling the opinion "irrelevant".

In addition to this, Donaldson took a more definitive stance after a user named SunnyV2 made a video called "Why Chris Will Soon Be A Nightmare For MrBeast" - which has garnered over 7.7 million views. He tweeted that the transphobia was starting to "p**s me off" and expressed that Tyson "isn't my 'nightmare'" but his friend.

Nevertheless, Tyson has shared that they've received an outpouring of love from their closest friends. They heartwarmingly penned: "All my friends have been so supportive! My family, however, is still learning and trying to understand/accept.

"Because for them, like many people, this was a shock. But the people who KNOW me have been silently cheering me on the whole way!", they added.

We are sending love to Tyson on their journey.
