Cast of 'One Tree Hill' reunite eight years after show ended

Stars of one of the most iconic shows of the '00s, One Tree Hill, reunited over the weekend, eight years after it ended. And one of the actors on the teen drama, Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer on the hit show, posted some snaps of said reunion.

In the photos, James Lafferty, Chad Michael Murray, Antwon Tanner, Jana Kramer, Stephen Colletti, Colin Fickes, Brett Claywell, and some other former cast members can be seen at a fundraising event.

Take a look at the trailer for the pilot of One Tree Hill if you've not yet seen it:

"I got a job when I was 20 years old that gave me some of the most important relationships and experiences of my life," Burton captioned the post. "I didn’t take nearly enough pictures this weekend and didn’t get photo evidence of everyone, but I love @raenia23 at @fwbcharityevents for bringing us all together. Thick and thin, our shared history has been a cornerstone in my life. Love you guys. Xxx."

In a second post, Burton added three more photos of the cast. And in the most recent post, the 37-year-old actress shared a picture of "the OGs of Tree Hill High," captioning it:

"Lotta awesome pictures from this weekend at @fwbcharityevents But this one is really special. We had so many brilliant cast mates over the years. But this bunch of crazies are the original cast from the very first pilot episode. Most of us got a script called 'Ravens'. We were little kids with a whole lotta hope. "Nathan. Tim. Lucas. Peyton. Skills. Mouth. Jimmy. The OGs of Tree Hill High."

Unsurprisingly, fans of the beloved CW series were overjoyed to see the cast back together again.

This show meant SO much to me and to so many people and the fact that y'all still seem to have such a good connection just makes me ridiculously happy."

Another added: "This picture is everything!!! I miss the show so much!".
