The last ever episode of Game of Thrones has just aired, and fan reactions have reportedly been pretty mixed. Some have loved it, while others have hated it. But there was one detail that everyone was talking about last night for all the wrong reasons: namely, the fact that it appears as though the people of Westeros have managed to invent plastic. Not only that, but they apparently drink bottled water.

Check out the footage of the bottle below:

Seriously though: I'm talking about a fairly cringe-worthy production gaffe here. Namely that, in one scene in episode six, when Samwell Tarly and Edmure Tully are at a meeting together, you can clearly see a bottle of water resting behind Sam's foot. Naturally, the eagle-eyed fans who spied the bottle quickly took to Twitter to share images of the unintentional prop. Man: I feel bad for the set designer on that day!

This incident comes just a few weeks after another similar mistake managed to make the final cup. Way back in episode four, Game of Thrones fans noticed a Starbucks coffee cup on the table next to Daenerys, in a scene in which the key characters celebrated the death of the Night King's with a boozy banquet at Winterfell.

HBO have since edited out the cup for DVD and streaming releases and responded to the accident by writing: "News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. #Daenerys had ordered herbal tea."

Sadly for the bottled water company, the brand of water which made a cameo in the shot cannot be seen, meaning that they've missed out on a ton of free advertising. Ah well.
