Fast food order granted to ‘world’s most wanted’ death row inmate in exchange for dead body information
A terrifying murderer bargained with cops, offering the location of a body in exchange for fast food.
Nicknamed the Deadpool killer as he shares the same name as the Marvel superhero, Wade Wilson, 31, was sentenced to death in 2024 for killing Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz.
In Netflix’s latest season of Worst Ex Ever, Wilson bragged about being “the world's most sought-after inmate” and told police he “used his looks” to lure women in.
It was revealed in the first episode, “Dating the Deadpool Killer,” that Wilson demanded a burger and fries in exchange for telling cops where he had buried Ruiz’s body.
The victim’s body was found in a field by police on October 10, 2016, but before Wilson found out they had discovered the body, he called Detective Nick Jones, telling him he would reveal the exact location in exchange for a burger and fries.
Reportedly, the killer said, "Might seem stupid. Give me some french fries and a burger, and I'm gonna take you right where you want to go. That's all I want bro.
"You’re are going to take me to eat, so I’ll show you the body right? You’re going to get me some french fries? Let's go get this body. Come on. It’s gonna get dark. I’m hungry," he added.
The cold-hearted killer met Krisitine Melton in a bar in Cape Coral, Florida, on October 6, 2019, and went back to her house, where he strangled the 35-year-old to death.
Then, just hours later, he stole Melton’s car to kill pedestrian Ruiz, whom he strangled before running over to make sure she was dead.
The Deadpool killer later bragged about the murders to his father, Steven Testasecca, who immediately turned him in to the police and later testified against him in court.
Wilson’s father later told his “monstrous son” on a prison phone call that he had to tell Ruiz’s family where her body was. Which he did, but not before demanding his fast food fix.
Speaking in the true crime documentary, Detective Jones said, "He wanted to trade a body for a meal.
"While talking to him, he's got really dark eyes.
"It's almost like there was nothing there. There was no remorse, no empathy."
In June 2024, Wilson was found guilty of first-degree murder, and a judge imposed two death sentences. His trial attracted a suspicious amount of female attention.
Bizarrely, as media coverage of the trial grew, hundreds of women, more than aware of the crimes he had committed against their peers, tried to get in contact with the killer.
In a recording heard in Worst Ex Ever, Wilson says to one of the women who successfully got in touch, “You know, they say that I'm the most sought-after inmate in the world right now."
