Last night, Marvel dropped the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home movie - and it has created a swell of different emotions among fans.

No Way Home follows on from 2019's Far From Home, which ended with Mysterio and J. Jonah Jameson announcing to the world that Tom Holland's Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Mysterio also successfully framed Parker by using doctored footage to convince the world that it was Parker that was behind the drone attack in London.

The new trailer picks up from the previous movie's cliffhanger, with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) telling Peter that he had botched a spell he cast in an effort to make the world forget he was Peter Parker. This has somehow led to villains from other universes (and other Spider-Man movies), appearing and facing off with Holland's Spider-Man.

We see Alfred Molina reprising his role as Otto Octavius from Sam Raimi's 2004 movie Spider-Man 2, as well as Jamie Foxx's Electro from Marc Webb's 2014 movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

However, Electro wasn't the only nod to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to feature in the trailer, as eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed an homage to Gwen Stacy's death in the same movie.

For those who may not remember, in the 2014 installment, Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy falls to her death following Spider-Man's battle with Electro and Green Goblin. After Stacy is thrown from the top of the clock tower by the Goblin, Parker - played by Andrew Garfield - is unable to save her.

Despite his web grabbing her just before she hits the ground, the sudden stop breaks Stacy's spine and she dies, leaving Parker to fall into a state of depression and abandon his Spider-Man duties.

And in the new No Way Home trailer, we see our new Spider-Man's love interest, MJ (Zendaya), fall from a platform, as Parker once again desperately reaches out to try and save her.

The eerily similar moment did not go unnoticed by social media users - with some fans being convinced that it will be Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker that catches MJ - as a way he can finally forgive himself for failing to save Gwen:

One fan went as far as to say: "I’m gonna be honest. If Andrew Garfield’s entrance in Spider-Man: No Way Home is him saving MJ as she’s falling because Tom Holland can’t, in an attempt to fulfill what he couldn’t do to Gwen… I’m gonna die in the theater. Physically die."

I won't lie, as a massive Spider-Man fan, I actually got goosebumps writing that.

Of course, despite rumors that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be once again reprising the role of Spider-Man in the upcoming No Way Home, Garfield has once again denied any involvement in the movie.

On a recent appearance on the Today show, Garfield continued to deny the rumors, saying: "Listen, I'm not in the film. I love Spider-Man, I always have. I was so happy to have played the part, and I'm so excited to see what they do with the third one, just like you guys are, to be honest. No, that's not a diplomatic answer. I really, really mean it."

Yeah, we'll see about that...

Chita Rivera, the iconic and pioneering Broadway star known for her unparalleled contributions to the world of musical theater, has sadly passed away at the age of 91.

The news of her passing was confirmed by her daughter, Lisa Mordente, who revealed that Rivera died in New York City on January 30.

"It is with great sadness that Lisa Mordente, the daughter of Chita Rivera, announces the death of her beloved mother who died peacefully in New York after a brief illness," the statement read, per The Guardian.

Rivera - originally born as Dolores Conchita Figueroa del Rivero Anderson - leaves behind an extraordinary legacy that has forever marked the Broadway stage. Her impact on the entertainment industry is immeasurable, as she was not only a remarkable talent but also a trailblazer for Latina artists.

Rivera's groundbreaking career reached remarkable heights, with notable accomplishments that include originating iconic roles in some of Broadway's most beloved productions. In 1957, she made history as the first person to portray Anita in West Side Story.

Among her extensive list of achievements, Rivera earned an astounding 10 Tony Award nominations spanning six decades. She emerged victorious in the Best Actress in a Musical category for her exceptional performances in Kiss of the Spider Woman and The Rink. These accolades solidified her status as one of Broadway's most celebrated and honored stars.

Throughout her illustrious career, Rivera's Broadway credits include unforgettable roles in productions like Bye Bye Birdie,  Chicago, Threepenny Opera, Kiss Me Kate, and Sweet Charity, to name just a few.

In addition to her stage career, Rivera continued to share her talents with audiences through intimate shows, often accompanied by her daughter, Lisa. She even performed alongside her own piano, bass, and drums trio, demonstrating her enduring passion for entertaining.

Rivera's remarkable journey was not limited to the stage; she also chronicled her life and experiences in a 2023 memoir titled Chita: A Memoir.

Reflecting on her illustrious career, Rivera once shared her pre-show routine with The Guardian, saying: "The only time my door would close would be just before I went on and I said my prayers. I would say the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Act of Contrition. Then I’d go off to be crazy!"

Rivera is survived by her daughter, Lisa, and her siblings Julio, Armando, and Lola del Rivero. Her older sister, Carmen, predeceased her.

Andrew Garfield has revealed the exclusive list of people he told about his highly-anticipated role in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The 38-year-old actor's appearance in the last MCU installment may have been one of Hollywood's worst-kept secrets, but Garfield himself was very tight-lipped about the casting.

Seeing Garfield once again reprise his role as Peter Parker alongside Tobey Maguire was potentially the greatest movie moment of 2021. What's more, this wasn't just a fleeting cameo as many die-hard Marvel fans feared it would be, Garfield and Maguire were pivotal to the movie's plot - and the result was once of the greatest instances of fan services ever seen on the big screen.

And despite Garfield repeating shutting down interviewers about his appearance in the movie, there were some people in his inner circle he let in on the secret.

During his recent appearance on Ellen, the host asked Garfield: "Besides your agent, who knew you were doing this?"

To which Garfield said: "My dad, my brother, and my mother at the time... Yeah, just kind of us."

The Amazing Spider-Man star added that he found it very "fun" keeping his involvement in the movie a secret. But once person he didn't let know was his ex-girlfriend and Spider-Man co-star, Emma Stone.

In recent a interview on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast, Garfield chatted about his return to the series and explained: "Emma [Stone] kept on texting me. She was like, 'Are you in this new Spider-Man film?'" he said. "And I was like, 'I don't know what you're talking about.'"

Stone starred alongside Garfield in both Amazing Spider-Man films, playing his love interest Gwen Stacey. As well as their on-screen romance, the pair dated in real life for four years and remain close friends.

"She was like, 'Shut up. Just tell me.' I'm like, 'I honestly don't know' — I kept it going, even with her," he continued laughing. "And then she saw it. She was like, 'You're a jerk.'"

And in an interview with The Wrap earlier this month,  Garfield also spoke out about lying to his fans for months about his role in No Way Home.

He told the publication: "It was rather stressful but also weirdly enjoyable. It was like this massive game of Werewolf that I was playing with journalists and with people guessing, and it was very fun."

Andrew Garfield has announced that he is stepping away from acting for "a while".

The news comes as the 38-year-old actor has enjoyed an incredibly successful year on the big screen.

Back in December, Marvel fans rejoiced as Garfield reprised his role as the New York web-slinger in the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home. And last month, he received a nomination for Best Actor at the Academy Awards for his role as Jonathan Larson in the musical Tick, Tick... Boom!

However, in a recent interview with Variety, Garfield has revealed that he is "going to rest for a little bit."

Speaking to the publication, the Amazing Spider-Man star explained: "I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while. Because as you know, that is a washing machine, that awards season."

He added: "I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while."

Garfield's comments come three years after the death of his mom, Lynn, who passed away in 2019 following her battle with pancreatic cancer.

Earlier this year, Garfield explained to Channel 4 News' Jackie Long how the loss of his mom had resorted in his world getting "rearranged".

"It is very very difficult. I think with a loss like that the world gets rearranged and I say that knowing I am not unique in that experience," he told Long, adding: "It's so strange because it feels very unique when it is happening, it feels like, 'Oh my god, I’m the only person that’s ever lost their mother', because it does feel so lonely and precise."

He continued: "It feels just like a precise agony and for a period of time I didn’t want to, and I wasn’t able to, do anything.

"I was kind of wasted and the world didn’t make sense, and it still doesn’t, because I miss her greatly, and I hope it never makes sense because I always want to miss her."

Garfield's next upcoming role is in the upcoming FX on Hulu series, Under the Banner of Heaven, which hits the platform on April 28.

Jessica Jones star Eka Darville’s young son has tragically died aged 10 following a brief battle with brain cancer.

Eka, famous for his role in the Marvel hit series Jessica Jones alongside David Tennant, is mourning the loss of his young son, Mana.

The 10-year-old boy fought bravely against a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, known as glioneuronal brain cancer, but tragically succumbed to the disease, per News.com.au.

The devastating news was confirmed by Eka's mother, Malaika, in a video shared on the GoFundMe page that had been set up in her grandson's name. She expressed the family's deep sorrow and gratitude for the support they had received.

"I still wanted to come together in this prayer because he's still always gonna be with us, and he's still with us," Malaika said.

She continued: "You can imagine the amount of sadness and grief of Eka, Lila, and Lila's parents, his grandparents, myself, his little brothers. But at the same time, there's a lot of joy. There's a lot of peace. There's a lot of stillness in the house after such a long struggle for 463 days since the whole ordeal began. And now he's free. Now he's dancing in the light."

"We all see it, we feel it, and I know that many of you, like myself, loved Mana eternally," she added.

The tragic journey began when Mana collapsed on a beach in July 2022. Subsequently, he experienced devastating seizures, leading to his hospitalization in January of this year, where doctors diagnosed him with brain cancer.

Despite undergoing an operation to remove as much of the tumor as possible, Mana's family embarked on a mission to find a cure for the young boy outside of Australia.

They identified potential lifesaving treatments in the United States and set a fundraising goal of $600,000 to cover the expenses. Remarkably, the family managed to raise the funds in just a few months.

Last week, the family shared their hope and faith on Instagram, writing: "Mana is still breathing, so we have hope. We know miracles are possible because we see it every day with our little man. Thank you to everyone for sharing your daily #manamoment with us."

Sadly Mana passed away, and netizens offered their condolences, including Australian actress Teresa Palmer who penned: "Sending immense love your way, friends."
